Quick Facts About Akasya

Akasya Place, a Turkish restaurant located in Liverpool, has received several positive comments highlighting its strengths. One of the major strengths of Akasya Place is its value for money, as the comment states that a feast for two can be ordered for little more than £30. Additionally, the drinks were given for free, providing an added value for customers. This affordability makes it an attractive option for customers looking for a budget-friendly dining experience.
Another strength is the staff's friendliness and helpfulness. The comment mentions that the staff reassured the customer with a food allergy about the safety of the food in terms of nut contamination. This shows that the staff at Akasya Place are knowledgeable and attentive to customers' needs, making it a suitable option for individuals with food allergies who may be hesitant to try new food. The fact that the staff came over to check if everything was alright also demonstrates their commitment to customer satisfaction, an important aspect of any successful restaurant.
The comment also highlights the taste and quality of the food at Akasya Place. The customer who generally shies away from spicy food found the chicken breasts to be delicious and tolerable in terms of spice. This indicates that Akasya Place offers options for customers with varying preferences, with both mild and spicier dishes available. Furthermore, the comment mentions that the chicken wings were enjoyed by the customer's friend, providing evidence of a diverse menu that can cater to a range of tastes.
Inclusive dining is another strength of Akasya Place. The comment mentions that the restaurant was chosen over another establishment because of its ability to cater to the customer's needs. By offering a wide variety of food suitable for all customers, including those with specific dietary preferences or restrictions, Akasya Place ensures that its customers feel welcome and accommodated.
The prompt service and reasonable prices are additional strengths of Akasya Place. The comment states that the service was fast, indicating that the restaurant values efficiency and customer convenience. The affordable lunch deal of £11.95 for two courses is also mentioned, making Akasya Place an attractive option for customers looking for a cost-effective dining experience.
There are, however, a few weaknesses mentioned in the comments. One comment criticizes the quality of the food, particularly the lamb shank, which was said to be chewy, fatty, and bland. Additionally, the mashed potatoes were not mashed properly, with visible pieces of potatoes. Another comment mentions that the hummus was bland and the texture was not to the customer's liking. These criticisms suggest that there may be some inconsistencies in the preparation and execution of certain dishes at Akasya Place.
Despite these weaknesses, the majority of the comments express high praise and satisfaction with Akasya Place. The positive comments highlight the restaurant's value for money, friendly staff, inclusive dining options, delicious food, and efficient service. These strengths make Akasya Place a recommended choice for individuals looking to try authentic Turkish cuisine in Liverpool.

Best TL Reviews

Akasya is a great introduction to Turkish cuisine and excellent value. A feast for two was ordered for little more than £30 and our drinks were given to us free. The staff were also quite friendly - helpful with ensuring me that food was safe from nut contamination. I would recommend this restaurant for anyone with food allergies and hesitant to try new food.
I generally shy away from spicy food, but was glad to find that my chicken breasts were were most delicious and quite tolerable in terms of spice. For those who prefer lots of spice in their food, there are other options including the chicken wings that my friend could attest to. The service was fast as well and came over to ask if everything was alright. It’s these small things that show customers that they care and can help form loyal regulars.
It is important for restaurants to ensure their menu offers a wide variety of food suitable for all their customers. I didn’t plan to come here initially. KO Grill was my initial choice, but upon learning that traces of nuts would be inevitable in anything they cooked, we left and went to Akasya where I was delighted to find they could cater for me. For this reason, I commend such establishments for their efforts in inclusive dining.
Our first time here. The staff at the entrance was friendly. Starters were delicious, fresh and the bread married well with the hummus. They do have a lunch deal of £11.95 for two courses. Not valid on Saturday and Bank Holiday. Their portion was generous. They do great coffee as well. The food was mediocre. The lamb shank was not cooked well. It was somewhat chewy, fatty and bland. Mash potatoes were not mashed properly. You can still spot pieces of potatoes. As for the charcoal-grilled lamb, it was better than the lamb shank. However, it was bland.
Both lovers of Turkish cuisine, so spotting this on Bold Street, had to give it a go. The cooking area is immediately to the right as you enter, so easy to miss, which I did, until my better half pointed it out. Décor fairly traditional, and the table we sat at was spotlessly clean.
Plus points. The meat (lamb and chicken) was grilled to perfection. Good level of service. Reasonably priced. Efes, one of the best beers on the planet, which also happens to be Turkeys favourite, was available on tap. ????
Slight minus. I found the humus to be rather bland and the texture wasn't to my taste either. Apart from that, I'll definitely be visiting again.
The tastes were absolutely amazing, definitely a must eat place for anyone wanting to try authentic Turkish Food!
Four of us got the lunch meal (2 Course for £14.95) and the quantity was more than enough.
Great food. Great service. Extremely pleasent staff.
Excellent for family and/or couples.
Traditional Turkish food and a good variety of drinks (alcoholic and non alcoholic).
Walk in customers welcome but on a weekend I highly recommend booking in advance.
Will definitely come again.
went for the lunchtime special (2 courses for £12.95) Generous portions, i couldn’t finish my food! i enjoyed the fresh bread that was provided probably a bit too much! would go again.
The most delicious Turkish restaurant in Liverpool. Staff professional and friendly, food just amazing, clean place and nice atmosphere and it’s located in a lovely area of the city. I highly recommend it. :)
