Quick Facts About Blue Reef Cafe

Blue Reef Cafe, based on the comments provided, appears to have several strengths and weaknesses.
Starting with the strengths, one customer mentioned that the staff were pleasant and friendly. Friendly staff can create a welcoming atmosphere and contribute to positive customer experiences. Another customer mentioned that the cafe had a good menu of drinks and simple foods. A good menu selection can attract customers and provide options for different dietary preferences. Additionally, one customer praised the coffee, mentioning that it was of good quality. High-quality coffee can be a draw for coffee enthusiasts and contribute to positive reviews.
Moving on to the weaknesses, several customers mentioned issues related to cleanliness. For instance, one customer mentioned that the place looked dirty, while another mentioned that the floor was incredibly filthy. Cleanliness is crucial for any food establishment as it impacts the overall customer experience and can also affect health and safety standards. Furthermore, one customer mentioned that the toilet facilities were dirty, which can be off-putting for customers and reflect poorly on the cafe's overall hygiene standards.
Another weakness highlighted by customers is the poor condition of the furniture. One customer mentioned that the seat pads were all damaged and broken, while another customer stated that most of the chairs were broken and not usable. Broken furniture can create an uncomfortable and unwelcoming environment for customers and may indicate a lack of maintenance and care in the establishment.
Several customers also mentioned issues with the food. One customer stated that the food was below average for the price, while another mentioned that there were not many worth eating options on the menu. Additionally, a customer commented that the portions were not satisfactory, mentioning that a roll consisted of only a small amount of filling. Poor quality food and limited menu options can lead to customer dissatisfaction and deter repeat visits.
In terms of pricing, customers expressed their dissatisfaction with the high prices in the cafe. One customer mentioned that the prices were extortionate, specifically stating that a muffin cost £3.25. High prices can deter customers, especially if they feel that the quality or value for money is not justified.
Lastly, a customer highlighted issues with service and wait times. For example, one customer mentioned that they had to wait for a long time for their order of chips and that their order was forgotten. Slow service and forgetfulness can negatively impact the overall customer experience and lead to frustration and disappointment.
In conclusion, Blue Reef Cafe has a number of strengths and weaknesses based on the comments provided. While the staff were praised for being friendly and accommodating, there are several areas that require improvement. These include cleanliness, furniture maintenance, food quality and variety, pricing, and service efficiency. Addressing these weaknesses can help improve the overall customer experience and potentially attract more satisfied customers to the establishment.

Best TL Reviews

Firstly prices extortionate £3.25 for a muffin. Seat pads are all damaged and broken. Toilets have 3 soap dispensers only one had soap and taps all have on off issues. Generally untidy and unwelcoming with very sad loose cover tatty sofas too. Wished I had left but grandchildren were hungry, wish I had my £20 back!
Pleasant enough staff but food was below average for the price, not very clean and all the chairs appear to be broken. They also had ran out of a lot of menu items and most condiments. I wish them all the best but won't be visiting again.
I loved this cafe at the sea front. I loved the staff who were very friendly and accommodating. The only thing i did not like about it was that the toilet facilities were dirty. Maybe a blip not sure because the cafe itself was spotless. They make a wicked coffee.
Very dated and dirty decor. Most of the chairs were broken and not able to be used. Only thing that was gluten free on the menu was a plate of chips. It is a big shame that a restaurant linked to the blue reef was so poor, it is clear that no-one cares about the place.
Dirty looking place and not much worth eating on the menu. Decided to just have 2 portions of chips and were told they would be about 10 minutes, OK. Half an hour later we were still waiting. Went and asked and they had forgotten us. Then just brought out one portion. Decided to just share that portion and get a refund on the other. There was no mention of any compensation though.
One plus was that they had a microwave for people to use so we could warm up our daughters baby food.
It looks run down and smells greasy. But there was no where else close to the aquarium to eat.
Ordered 2 rolls, one tuna and one ploughmans...tuna was just a lick and the ploughmans was mainly salad with half a slice of squre ham and cheese. Not worth the £7.50 each. The place was filthy with food over floor and tables not cleaned.
I don't understand why people have put this little cafe down. It's really great. Given that it's what it is, it's NOT going to be somewhere that will 'wait on you' (though they DO come out to your table if you forgot something at the counter! ???? Really nice good menu of drinks and simple foods. Very good quality (we had a wonderful latte they did with mocha for us!! REALLY nice, wish I knew what kind of coffee that was!!) VERY nice staff, VERY clean and friendly there. We'd finished the Aquarium next door and had a nice 'sit and AWESOME snack' in this Cafe afterwards! Thanks guys!! Marvellous we'll definitely recommend and be back!! WHAT was the coffeeeeeeeee???? LOL!! Thank you!!
Firstly the floor was incredibly filthy, we were one of the first people into the cafe. The disabled toilet wasn't fit for purpose and was an absolute state. It was filthy and smelt. The food was expensive and was not remotely nice. Really wouldn't go back if you paid for me to go. It's very pricey, you'd think they would be able to use some of the £2.35 for a bottle of pop to spend on either a cleaner or some cleaning products at least especially in the times we are living in.
