Quick Facts About Chloe Mae's
Chloe Mae's place has several strengths based on the comments provided. Firstly, customers appreciate the tastiness and flavor of the dishes. The food is well-designed and perfectly flavored, indicating a high level of culinary skill. The variety of dishes available is also seen as a strength, with customers praising the selection and generous use of sauces.
Another strength mentioned is the friendly and welcoming staff. Customers have had positive interactions with the women who run the place, describing them as nice and friendly. This adds to the overall positive experience of dining at Chloe Mae's.
The location of Chloe Mae's is also seen as a strength. It is described as a lovely little place in Cullercoats, easily accessible via Cullercoats metro. The off-street parking in the quiet residential area is appreciated, making it convenient for customers to visit.
Being dog friendly is another strength mentioned by customers. This attracts customers who want to bring their furry friends along and creates a welcoming atmosphere for pet owners.
The presentation of the food is also praised by customers. Dishes are nicely presented and visually appealing. Customers have enjoyed the attention to detail in the plating of their meals.
However, there are also some weaknesses mentioned in the comments. One customer mentioned that they were initially surprised to find out that Chloe Mae's is a snack restaurant when they were only looking for coffee and cake. This indicates a lack of clarity in the signage or online presence of the establishment.
Some customers have criticized the coffee at Chloe Mae's. One customer found the lattes to be weak, suggesting that the coffee may need improvement. Another customer felt that their coffee would have benefited from an extra shot of espresso. Strengthening the coffee offerings could enhance the overall experience for coffee-loving customers.
A lack of information about food allergies is also mentioned as a weakness. While there are vegan sausages on the menu, the customer felt disappointed by the absence of information regarding other potential allergens. Providing more information about the ingredients used and any potential allergens would improve the dining experience for customers with dietary restrictions or allergies.
Additionally, one customer mentioned that they were unable to tell what kind of place Chloe Mae's is from the outside. This suggests a need for clearer signage or advertising that communicates the type of food and the family-friendly atmosphere offered. Taking advantage of the potential for more customers, particularly families, passing by the cafe could benefit Chloe Mae's.
Lastly, one comment mentions that despite the positive aspects of Chloe Mae's, it is often not full. This could suggest a need for more marketing or advertising efforts to increase awareness and attract more customers. Despite being in a prime spot and having a beautiful interior, the full potential of the cafe may not be realized without effective marketing strategies.
In conclusion, Chloe Mae's place has strengths in terms of tasty and well-designed dishes, friendly staff, a convenient location, and being dog-friendly. However, there are weaknesses in terms of the lack of clarity about the type of establishment, the quality of the coffee, the need for more information about allergens, and potentially missed opportunities for attracting customers. Addressing these weaknesses could further enhance the overall dining experience and increase customer satisfaction and loyalty.

Well that was unexpected!!
Really tasty well designed dishes. Perfectly flavoured and will absolutely go back again.
Haddock tempura, Korean King Prawn, Sweet Potato Fries, and Salad.
(Even the house salad was really good !)
Only Went in for coffee and cake, find out it's a snack restaurant !!
Looking at prev reviews it seems they have updated their Menu, and perfected it to select items but very well done.
Had a nice little breakfast at Chloe Mae’s. It’s a lovely little place in Cullercoats, easily accessible via Cullercoats metro. Please be mindful when parking as it is nestled in a quiet residential area with off street parking.
Verdict: Breakfast tasted good. I don’t particularly like black pudding so requested for a swap for bacon but was told that I could only have either mushrooms or tomatoes. Fair enough, mushrooms it was! ???? Hubs and I had lattes. I’m not a fan of dark coffee but even I found the lattes a bit weak. Probably should have asked for an extra shot of espresso. Overall fair price for the place and deffo bonus points for being dog friendly! ????
Great variety of dishes here and ran by nice women. Lots of flavour and generous with sauces.
Just had the Lord Simon burger absolutely fantastic... Great food!
I just went with my 2 kids for tea. Nicely presented sausage/fish fingers, chips and broccoli. £4.50 I think it was. It was tasty. The kids enjoyed it and the got a nice colouring sheet and crayons.
I feel they're missing a trick with the floods of kids and carers passing twice a day. Why not have a teatime special on to encourage customers....
The kids didn't get a drink with their meal but there's a good choice of food. I got chunky chips, dips and coffee. Delish.
If you offered free chunky chips with a kids meal and advertised that on the window, that would be popular. You may not want to be that kind of place...
We can't tell what you sell from the outside of the cafe and especially if you're children friendly.
There were vegan sausages on the menu but no information about food if you have allergies which was disappointing.
There's such an investment in Cullercoats currently with Cullercoats Collective etc and you've a prime spot yet when I walk past (I live up the street) it never is full.
Shame because it's so beautiful in there, lovely staff and interesting menu.
Have called in for the odd coffee over the last few weeks and always very good. Ordered two large takeaway breakfasts this morning - ready in 20 minutes and faultless. Would definitely recommend, the staff are always friendly and the place has a buzz, is bright and welcoming. Our new favourite venue ????????????
Lovely place to visit, would highly recommend. Excellent service and very friendly staff. The food is absolutely incredible!!!
2nd visit to Chloe Mae's and did not disappoint. The place is very tastefully furnished and the ladies here are so friendly. The food is freshly cooked and so full of flavour and portion size very generous. I highly recommend a visit..and to make it even better its dog friendly too !
