Ur gemütliche... Toller Pub.... Komme schon viele Jahre hier her
Lovely pub.Greeted by a lovely friendly bar lady.
I first used the pub 36 years ago when I worked in the city after work for a couple of pints.
It's a Joules House now but still has many of the original features from back then.
A group of older gents having a beer by the fire area reminded me of the times I used it with work colleagues.
I nice greeting is always sign to return.
It's a decent enough pub, my opinion - it's quite clicky and has a sterile atmosphere, not a locals pub.
But, the Guinness is good, there's a great fire in the bar and a dart board. Regular food from pop-ups in the car park. Good pub quiz by Rob Taylor and other events.
Super dog friendly ale house. Great selection of drinks including non alcoholic and bar snacks. friendly staff. Top edition of the snack van outside
Lovely pub. Beautiful outside areas. Great staff. Fun games to play. Highly recommend ????
Brilliant pub. First experienced during lockdown when outside drinks were permitted. Was great service.
Since moving to Lichfield I noticed the venue was always posting on Facebook, engaging with the local area and had a real sense of community.
When they enquired about trying to get a darts team going I messaged and set up a little meet and greet to hopefully start a team. We couldn't find much in the way of local leagues after COVID. So, we started our own singles league.
The league has gone from strength to strength and that is in no small part due to the pub and management of Leanne and Andy and all the support they give.
The pub itself always has something on, from live music, to quizzes and even a games night. Great beer, great staff, and great management.
Excellent. Safe Covid-19 secure.
Good range of beers, cider and bar snacks.
Street food vendors for both main meals and desserts
Garden- beautiful
Staff- wonderful
Drinks - some of the best ranges in Lichfield.
The owner is nice and chatty & happily come back time & time again.
AND the pub has GAMES. this is a BIG plus for me.
Dog friendly & will always welcome you with a smile.
