Quick Facts About Elbows Cafe
Elbows Cafe has several strengths that make it a popular choice among customers. One of the main strengths is its location. Being situated near the beautiful Victoria Park provides a pleasant and scenic environment for customers to enjoy while dining at the cafe. The cafe's proximity to the park also makes it an ideal spot for people watching, allowing customers to relax and observe the world around them.
Another strength of Elbows Cafe is its menu. Despite having a small selection, the cafe is praised for its high-quality food. Customers particularly enjoy the scrambled eggs with vegetables and the baguettes. The food is made and prepared in front of the customers, which adds an element of transparency and ensures quality control. Additionally, the cafe offers a variety of delicious pastries and treats, making it a great option for those with a sweet tooth.
The quality of the beverages at Elbows Cafe is also highly regarded. The cappuccino and iced mocha are specifically mentioned as being excellent. The cafe also offers freshly squeezed orange juice, which is described as being outstanding. The cafe's ability to consistently deliver high-quality beverages contributes to its positive reputation and customer satisfaction.
The friendly and attentive staff at Elbows Cafe are noted to be another strength. Customers appreciate the warm and welcoming atmosphere created by the staff. The employees are described as friendly, helpful, and cheerful. The quick service is also praised, ensuring that customers are not kept waiting for long periods of time. The staff's positive attitude and efficient service contribute to a pleasant dining experience for customers.
Despite these strengths, there are also some weaknesses that have been mentioned by customers. One customer mentions that since the refurbishment, the cafe appears to be under new management. This change has resulted in a perceived decline in the quality of the food. The customer mentions receiving a baguette that had very little filling in it. This inconsistency in the quantity and quality of the food can be seen as a weakness of the cafe.
Another weakness mentioned by a customer is the poor quality of the bacon baguette. The bacon is described as being fatty and the customer had to leave it uneaten. This suggests that the cafe may lack consistency in the preparation of certain dishes, leading to an unsatisfactory experience for customers. The customer also mentions that the cafe is overpriced, which may contribute to the negative perception of the food.
Despite these negative comments, the overall feedback for Elbows Cafe is predominantly positive. The cozy and welcoming atmosphere, along with the delicious food and beverages, contribute to its popularity. While there may be some areas that require improvement, such as consistency in food quality and pricing, the strengths of the cafe largely outweigh the weaknesses. With its prime location, friendly staff, and high-quality offerings, Elbows Cafe remains a popular choice for customers visiting Victoria Park.

Sehr gerne immer wieder !!!
Love this place, been here a couple times and they always impress.
The food is great, I had the scrambled eggs and vegetables and an iced mocha, which was spot on.
Staff are really friendly, and service is quick.
It's in a great location where you can just sit and watch the world go by.
Visited for the first time since the refurb and it seems it’s being run by new people. The 2 brothers who used to run and work there were so friendly and food was always to a good quality, made and prepared in the front of the shop in full view of customer. I got a baguette today that I waited ages for and when I got it home, there was hardly any filling in it at all. Coffee is good.
Lovely cafe just next to Victoria Park with a selection of delicious patisserie, nice service and very good atmosphere.
Lovely cafe and lunch place! Very friendly and fast service, the coffee and hot chocolate are tasty, the kische with broccoli and salmon was good and the cheese and ham croissants too. The bakery side is just delicious
Worst bacon baguette ever, inside my baguette the bacon was so fatty in the end I had to leave it new owners need to make sure a decent chef is in place how can you get a simple task of frying bacon better off in Stratford Market village fantastic will not ever be going there again this was today thought maybe another chance 11th October please do not go overpriced and terrible food!!
Such a cozy café we stumbeled upon on our way to the park. The chicken sallad was huge and i loved the grilled vegetables in it. Workspace where they made the food was very clean and staff was just super friendly! Felt so welcome here. They had soy milk, for those who prefer that. We sat outside, the area was calm unlike many other places weve been to in London. If you are near Victoria Park, i can really recommend this café!
Small coffee shop in Victoria Park 'village'. Good coffee and good selection of pastries and treats. Breakfasts also seem appetising.
