The welcoming owners and great food are also mentioned as strengths. This indicates that the staff at the restaurant is friendly and creates a welcoming atmosphere for customers. The fact that the food is considered great suggests that the quality of dishes is generally good, contributing to a positive dining experience.
However, there are also several weaknesses that have been pointed out by customers. One customer mentions that the buffet was fett-triefend (grease-dripping), verkocht (overcooked), and many items were empty. In terms of service, one customer complains about the waitress, mentioning that the chef had to clear the plates for their mains. This suggests that the service may be lacking and not meeting the expectations of customers.
One negative comment also mentions finding hair in the food, which is a major hygiene issue and can greatly impact the dining experience. This indicates a lack of attention to detail and food safety in the restaurant.
Overall, the strengths of the Emperor Chinese Restaurant include freshly cooked main dishes, delicious soup and snacks, welcoming owners, and good food. However, the weaknesses include a disappointing buffet, below average starters and main courses, inconsistent quality, high prices, poor service, and hygiene issues. These weaknesses can greatly impact the overall dining experience and may discourage customers from returning to the restaurant. It is important for the restaurant to address these weaknesses in order to improve and provide a better dining experience for their customers.

Great buffet, every main dish served to me was freshly cooked. Kung Po Shrimp and noodles was a perfect combination. Very delicious soup with a variety of snacks and sweets. The Chinese tea was the palate cleanser.
The food here was lovely, this is a buffet restaurant so you helped yourself to starters and dessert and ordered your main from the menu . We hadn't booked but found us a table for two , staff were lovely and friendly and food delicious would definitely recommend.
Hands down the BEST place for a sit down Chinese meal in Llandudno. The owners are always very welcoming and the food is great. Starters are chosen from those on display with mains all cooked to order which I've never experienced before from other buffets but find refreshing. Can't recommend highly enough, a hidden gem of Llandudno.
If I could rate this 0 stars, I would.
Starters are below average, everything is frozen and stale and dry.
Main courses are below average too. Chicken slimy, pork in batter was mostly batter and grease. Egg Fried Rice had a weird consistency and tasted weird.
Drinks are poured from a big bottle and about £3 each which is a massive rip off. Drinks were flat too.
Waitress not great either, the chef had to come and clear our plates away for our mains.
Ever since we have both got stomach cramps and feel really ill.
The whole place has a weird vibe about it.
AVOID THIS PLACE. AWFUL FOOD.
Where do I start, not usually one to write a review for a place but this was a shambles, except for the waitresses working hard tonight, found hair in the food which I didn’t fuss about too much thought accidents happen, so I had gotten a new plate, I then wanted a drink of coke and JD Which was 5.30 and a j20 which was 2.20 adding upto £8.50, when the manager brought the bill she had rounded the drinks to £10 for no reason which we then had to tell them what we ordered as non of the drinks were kept tracked, was really upsetting as it was our last night in Llandudno, so apart from the hair, over pricing, and manager consistently running away to different tables forgetting about us. The food was good and you can’t go wrong with all you can eat food
Was the second time me and my partner went here and was very poor compared to the first time, the starters wasn't very tasty and the mains were disappointing. Was a real waste of money, more than a fiver for 2 cokes and I was even put off from the desserts which is not like me. Overall avoid, other places that are much better and probably cheaper. 3/10, poor.
Excellent staff and service. Food was delicious. A single mum with her 9 year old son where treated amazing with the staff helping the son to choose his food. Highly recommended
