Quick Facts About Hawk Green Fryery

Hawk Green Fryery has received mostly positive reviews from customers, highlighting its strengths in terms of its food quality and friendly service. However, there are a few comments that mention some weaknesses, such as slow service and cold chips. In this analysis, we will delve into these strengths and weaknesses in order to provide a comprehensive assessment of the establishment.
Starting with the strengths, it is evident that the new owner, Fiona, is well-liked by customers. One comment specifically describes her as "lovely," suggesting that she is friendly and personable, creating a positive atmosphere for customers. This is an important strength for any business, as good customer service can greatly enhance the overall experience.
Another strength of Hawk Green Fryery is the quality of the food. Many customers rave about the taste and consistency of the dishes, with one individual even stating that they have never had a bad dish in over 20 years of patronizing the establishment. This consistent quality is a testament to the skill and expertise of the chefs and is likely to contribute to customer loyalty and positive word-of-mouth.
The restaurant is also commended for its accommodation of customer requests. One customer mentions that they were able to order something that was not on the menu, showcasing the flexibility and willingness of the staff to meet customer preferences. This level of service is likely to contribute to customer satisfaction and repeat business.
Additionally, the salt and pepper chips are specifically mentioned in several comments as being a standout item on the menu. This suggests that the restaurant has a unique and popular dish that sets it apart from competitors. Such a specialty item can help to attract customers and differentiate the establishment from others in the area.
Moving on to the weaknesses, there are a few comments that highlight slow service and cold chips. One customer mentions that they were asked to come just before 6pm to pick up their order and ended up waiting over 25 minutes. This suggests a lack of efficiency and timely preparation of orders, which can be frustrating for customers, especially when they have been given a specific time to collect their food.
Another comment mentions that the chips were cold and had lots of bits. Cold chips can greatly impact the enjoyment of a meal and can be seen as a sign of poor quality control. Additionally, the presence of lots of tiny pieces suggests that the chips may not have been made fresh or may have been mishandled during the cooking process. This can be seen as a weakness in the food preparation and handling.
One minor weakness that is mentioned in passing is that Hawk Green Fryery only accepts cash payments. In an increasingly cashless society, this can be inconvenient for customers who may not have cash on hand. Accepting a variety of payment methods, such as card or contactless payments, can help to improve the overall customer experience and remove barriers to purchasing.
In conclusion, Hawk Green Fryery has numerous strengths, including a friendly owner, high-quality food, accommodating service, and a standout menu item. However, there are also some weaknesses to be addressed, such as slow service, cold chips, and the lack of alternative payment methods. By working on these weaknesses, the establishment can further enhance the overall customer experience and continue to thrive in the local market.

Best Chinese food in Marple. Never had a bad dish in over 20 years of coming here. Highly recommended!
First order from here last week and so happy we have finally found a Chinese with great food. Very accommodating and cooked what we asked for even although not on the menu. Food was delicious and have to agree with other comments on the salt and pepper chips! Definitely be back!
Cracking local takeaway. Salt and pepper chips are a must!
Ordered by phone at 5pm and asked for it to be ready for 6pm, I was asked to come just before 6pm, turned up at 5.55 and waited over 25mins. The main food was ok nothing special, fried rice was ok but the chips were cold and lots of bits. Won't be going again.
Best Chinese take away in the area, have been going for years.
Superb Chinese food. The ribs are substantial. It’s Sunday and I’m hungover. I’d pay £1000 for you to be open today.
