We had a lovely experience at La Fontana. The waiter (young boy) really made our evening. He was charming, helpful and really made it his personal mission to make our evening as pleasant as possible. The Chef made himself known to us and was very helpful with splitting starters between 4 dishes etc. Things that you don’t expect from a restaurant but do really make a difference. The food was divine. I really liked the “mozzarella in Carozza” started and the sea food risotto was amazing! Overall a fantastic experience and I shall definitely be returning.

Had a great experience. All the staff were very friendly and made us feel at home. The food was exceptional, especially the Mozzarella in Carozza starter! We will be definitely go back!

Visited La Fontana numerous times however was disappointed with the last visit. Two of us went for dinner last night, service was good to start however it took an hour for our mains to arrive from the time our starters were finished. I had to ask at the bar if our main was soon due out as we'd been waiting a long time. When they eventually brought the mains out, they'd forgot to bring out our side order of chips, and with no-one returning to ask how our meal was we'd not got the chance to follow up on the chips.
When paying for the bill we went straight to the bar as we couldn't be bothered to wait any longer in the restaurant. The lady whom I'd early queried about our main was behind the bar, I'd explain how we had been before and was quite pleased on previous occasions but the service had been awful this time. I asked for the chips to be removed from the bill as they'd never arrived, to which she did. However to not receive an apology or a goodwill gesture means I will not be returning.
We'd had a table next to us who'd also complain about the waiting around times and commented on how empty the restaurant was so we couldn't understand what the delay was.
Yet another fantastic evening at La Fontana. Food and hospitality first class! My pizza was perfect. Thanks Ben, Lisa and staff :-)
