Through covid when we had to eat outside they spent money and dedicated time to laying out a small garden space into a picturesque dinner garden. They set out heaters around the garden and fairy lights over the top… it was gorgeous.

Room for improvement - more balanced wines to match your superb food.
Food is AMAZING! The restaurant is a small but lovely environment. We came when there were a few parties going on so it seemed busier but we are patient customers and understood.Thoroughly enjoyed the rustic themed evening. Staff were polite. Me and my partner both said as soon as we got out “ah not in Italy anymore and that we will 1000% be coming back”.

Our first visit and certainly not our last! We went for our Granddaughters 16th birthday just the 4 of us. The food was superb and beautifully presented. The service was fantastic. One of our party has a nut allergy and the chef came to talk to her about her food choices. The concern shown by the staff to "get it right" was amazing. The lady looking after our table, who I assume is a co- owner was absolutly lovely. I can't praise this restaurant enough. We had the salmon, chicken l'orange,carbonnara and fetuchini and all were delghted with our meal. Thank you so much for a fabulous evening!
We ate in the gardens of this quaint little restaurant this evening, it was amazing, I felt like I was in Italy. The food was gorgeous and the service was top notch. The owner came out and asked us how our food was and made us feel so welcome it was a nice personal touch. We will definitely coming back here next time we are in Northampton. We had a 3 course meal and the portions were very generous, this was authentic Italian cuisine. The tiramisu was lovely and I can’t wait to come back again soon. Thank you for such a lovely evening.
Exceptional food and service. Very rarely you order a few dishes from menu and they are ALL amazing - that was the case here. Amazing Gamberi al marsala, Bruschetta selection, Risotto ai gamberoni and Penne con salsiccia affumicata e funghi. Tiramisu looked so good we didn’t manage to take a photo. Overall, a wonderful experience.
Food was OK but not on par with what we expect from this place. Waitress must have been new tonight as she was all over the shot. Italian ice cream of a few scoops was essentially from a tub. I swear this place once actually had good home made ice cream. When we paid, we had to actually explain the bill back to the waiter who was sorting our payment. Perhaps it was the waitress who got it all wrong initially. He admitted it was wrong and we settled. Tonight was just one of those nights where everything just went to pot. Shame really as this place comes highly recommended, but our experience lacked everything. Perhaps in 6 months we will try again and change this review to reflect.

We came in the evening with our 5 year old and 3 year old after a long day out. The team was very attentive - informed us of how long it might be before the food would be ready, checked to see if the kids would like their food first and even offered to serve up the main course that they were sharing separately for us. On top of all that, the food was absolutely top notch! Definitely the best Italian we have been to. When we are next in Northampton again, we will definitely be back!
