3. Service issues: One customer mentions that the service at Lahore Express is an issue. Although the specific issue is not mentioned, poor customer service can be a significant weakness for any restaurant.
4. Unappetizing appearance of non-grilled dishes: A customer observes that the non-grilled dishes served in canteen bowls do not look appealing. This may discourage customers from trying these dishes and limit their overall dining experience.
5. Miserable owner and poor customer service: Another comment highlights the poor customer service provided by the owner, including their attitude, confusion regarding orders, and reluctance to provide a receipt. This negative experience can deter potential customers from visiting the restaurant.
In conclusion, Lahore Express London seems to have several strengths that make it attractive to customers, such as its authenticity, flexible dining options, reasonable prices, and freshly made naan. However, it also faces some weaknesses, including potential issues with spice levels, the need for area improvement, service concerns, unappetizing presentation of non-grilled dishes, and poor customer service. Addressing these weaknesses could enhance the overall dining experience and help the restaurant attract a wider customer base.
Best TL Reviews
Authentic Indian restaurant with eat in or takeaway option available. We visited on Sunday and surprisingly it was quiet only a few locals. Price and portions are good but for my wife slightly bit spicy. Freshly made naan and daily specials.
I am eating Lahore Express food almost everyday, and I am a big fan of the food. Though the area need to be improved which could be complained. The food what i ate during some years there was nothing wrong with the food in fact I will say this restaurant food is one of the best restaurants food in London I ever ate. While I was about to give the review of the service and food I am eating I read many other people reviews as well some of them they were complaining about food and most of them are Pakistani, trying to devalue it as always we are doing in front of other people. Before doing this they need to think it twice what they doing. Anyways this place food is very appealing and tasty.
Ordered food for my family, and food came out perfect! Everyone was satisfied and asked where i got it from. Great family run business, father and son at the front desk were very kind. Highly recommended.
Fantastic spice. Friendly staff. Canteen style seating area. Have had several friends say it's the best kebab they've ever had: that's the chicken or lamb. Fresh bread for every order and coriander, ginger, chilli chopped and waiting in tubs which can be added by chef.
My first takeaway from here today ! Honestly it was really good and value for money . The grill chicken was very tasty and the keabab roll was good as well . The plain nan bread was
fantastic . Just what I needed for Monday night . . Only service is issue here !!!!!
I've been to the Lahore Express on a number of occasions. The grilled food is nice, reasonably priced and from my observations many locals eat in there which I consider to be a good sign.
Away from the grilled food there are also the more familiar dishes you'll find on any menu. I've not tried these as they don't look very appetising i.e. it's stored in steel canteen bowls, the oil rises to the top and it looks unimpressive. This is just an observation and to reiterate I've not tried the non-grilled dishes.
The service is acceptable. The staff don't converse too much but they do ensure the food is cooked well and they aren't rude.
Its call royal spices its ok
Owner was very miserable from the moment we entered, he was huffing and puffing when taking our order and for some reason seemed very confused when we asked for a whole baby chicken "what do mean whole baby chicken?” direct quote from him (had to point it out to him on the menu even then he seemed confused). We had to clean the plates ourselves as the ones we received had greasy hand marks on them. At the end when it came to paying we had to fight him for the receipt which he didn't even let us take in the end.
Very poor customer service.
