Quick Facts About Roaring Meg Retail Park
Roaring Meg Retail Park has a number of strengths and weaknesses, as mentioned in the comments provided.
One of the strengths of the retail park is the presence of M&S. Multiple commenters have attested to the quality and brilliance of the store. The staff in the restaurant area are described as "nice," and the food hall is said to be "to die for." The store is highly regarded and loved by many. This indicates that M&S offers a great shopping experience and has a positive reputation among customers. Additionally, one comment mentions that the portions of food at the M&S cafe are massive, providing value for money.
Another strength of the retail park is the ample parking available. It is stated that there is plenty of parking, and one comment even mentions that there is free parking for up to 4 hours. This is a significant advantage as parking is often a concern at retail parks. The availability of parking spaces makes it convenient for visitors to shop at the various stores without having to worry about finding a spot for their vehicle.
Moreover, the comment about Boots the Chemist highlights the ease of parking and quick click and collect service at the store. This indicates that the retail park provides convenience and efficiency in terms of shopping and related services.
However, there are also some weaknesses mentioned in the comments. One commenter visited the M&S cafe and had a negative experience. They mentioned that some of the food items were unavailable, the choices were limited, and cold drinks and egg benedict were running out. Additionally, they noted that the tables were dirty and not promptly cleaned. The overcrowded environment and lack of consideration from other customers also made their visit unenjoyable. These comments suggest that the cafe may have some issues with food availability, cleanliness, and overall customer experience.
Another weakness mentioned is the lack of information about parking restrictions. One comment states that the sign does not indicate if there is a cool-off period for parking, and another comment mentions that it is not clear if there is a return time restriction. These uncertainties about parking rules can be frustrating for visitors and could potentially lead to parking fines or penalties.
The retail park is also said to be busy, with one commenter mentioning that the car park is super busy even on weekdays. This suggests that finding parking may be difficult during peak hours, especially if one arrives late in the day. This can be seen as a weakness as it may inconvenience visitors and potentially discourage them from visiting the retail park.
In terms of recommendations, one comment suggests that the retail park could benefit from the addition of a few more shops. This implies that the current selection of stores may not be sufficient to attract a larger customer base. Another comment states that the retail park is slowly getting better over time, indicating that there may have been previous shortcomings that are being addressed and improved upon.
In conclusion, Roaring Meg Retail Park has strengths such as the presence of a highly regarded M&S store, ample parking, and convenience in service. However, there are also weaknesses such as issues with the M&S cafe, lack of parking information, and overcrowding. Overall, the retail park seems to have potential for improvement but still offers a decent shopping experience.

Went to M & S there today. As always and expected it's brilliant. The staff in the restaurant area are so nice, the food hall to die for, as always. Just a brilliant store. What else to say, I just love M&S????
Visited the cafe this noon. Some of the food went unavailable. There were not much choices, even worse that cold drinks and egg benedict were running out. The tables were dirty without staff cleaning promptly. People here not considerate enough to move chairs to fit themselves. Over-crowded environments here. Not enjoyable.
Plenty of parking and lots of places to shop from but the only downside is the sign isn't telling you if there is any cool off period for the parking.
The parking is free for 4 hours but what if you have to leave and come back later in the day. There's no information about that. It just says maximum 4 hours. Other than that, is alright
Well we came to the meg for our grandsons birthday celebration and there was 8 adults and five children, we all ordered our food and and when it arrived the portion's were massive which indicates that you get value for money, the food was very nice and to be honest i wouldn't hesitate to go there again, we we're looked after by Adam who couldn't do enough for us from start to finish, I recommend this place.....Enjoy
Visited Boots the Chemist - a large store with very little footfall- I'm surprised hiw quiet it us compared to the one in town, easy to park, quick to pick up my click and collect. Not much else to say if you're nit familiar with Boot's then pop down to the retail park and explore all if the shops there.
Not totally clear about the no return time restriction on the parking. You risk a large fine especially on a football match day
Slowly getting better over time, M&S is a lovely addition to the retail park plenty of parking just needs a few more shops.
Now that Debenham is an M&S, it's really nice.
Super busy in the Carpark even on weekdays so expect to park a little further away if you get there a little late in the day.
