I've been going here for about 5 yrs and Jon is one of the best salon stylist that they have at Royal Clip.
Place would give decent haircut if they keep their appointments. Twice now I have made appointments with this place that they either made me wait an unreasonable amount of time or just told me they don't have a spot for me, even though I had called ahead days in advance and scheduled an appointment. I won't be coming back. If time is precious to you, don't waste it here.

Reply to response: The first "unreasonable time" was the stylist took on an unscheduled perm right before my appointment was supposed to start. While I sat and waited I watched walk-in appointments come and go. Not once was I offered an alternative stylist until I complained about it.
Second, the recent appointment was made Monday with a request to find any available appointment >this week< after 3pm. I was given Thursday at 3:30. Since the request was for >this week< then there no reason to suspect it was an different week. When I arrived I was told there is NO appointment for me and nothing available. I'm learning about the Thursday the following week appointment (which they can cancel, BTW) through their reply.
You may ask why I came back after the first event? Because, Lynn was that alternative stylist. She became my go to stylist ever since. She always kept her appointments and gave me great hair cuts. But, unfortunately I just learned she has retired. It seems no one else there can keep there appointments.

I had a special offer that encouraged me to try this place out for the first time, as I was new to this area. There is ample parking outside of the store. When I walked in the store, it was well lit and spacious. The entire place was very clean. each hairdressers work station was also very neat, with all their products displayed in an orderly fashion. I was greeted as soon as I walked in. Because I made an appointment, and because I showed up 10 minutes early, I did not have to wait more than 2 minutes. Nikki was The one who gave me my haircut. She was extremely friendly and professional. We talked briefly about what kind of haircut I wanted. I have never had anyone cover my eyes while cutting the front of my hair to keep the hair from falling down my face, but she did it. I was very impressed! she also made several passes to ensure that my hair was cut evenly. Some places I've gone to in the past do not do this. In addition, when she cut my sideburns, she double-checked to ensure that they were the same length on both sides. Again, places I have gone to in the past do not usually do this. She used a blow dry multiple times to blow off the excess hair before she continued cutting. The chairs they have at this place are very comfortable as well. I highly recommend this place! Nikki did an amazing job.
I was attended by an older women at the salon. I showed her a picture as a reference of what I wanted but she didn’t seem to pay much attention to it. There was also a bit of a language barrier but I tried to “trust the process” as she was snipping away. My hair is AWFUL. It’s super short & the layers are all choppy and uneven. I can’t even get it “fixed” anywhere else without having to go even SHORTER than it already is. I’ve already been told that my safest bet is to let it grow out. Worst hair cut EVER. I look like a boy or like if a little kid took some scissors to my head.
I've never been so unhappy with a haircut. I specified to the stylist I wanted the exact same style, but just shorter. Just a trim. I pointed to two inches below my collarbone, indicating that's the shortest I would like it to be. Instead, I come out with my hair cut to shoulder length, and I am currently camped out in my car, figuring out how to make this work. Not only that, but my bangs have been cut so unevenly, it looks more like it was chopped off. I should have known something was gonna go wrong when I noticed she wasn't even using the right cutting instrument for layered hair. I've had haircuts before where it did not satisfy me, but this one has me absolutely irate. I don't feel like this lady knew what she was doing, and if she did, she certainly was not listening to what I wanted.
My stylist, Nikki is the best. Warm, bubbly, always greeted with a big smile and up beat. She does a good job with my haircut and my spouses. Great value too! ????✂️????
Good haircut at a great price, plus a friendly staff. Been going here for many years.
