Today I had my hair done by Ruben. He was recommended by a friend.

I have never met someone who does my hair better than Ruben. He is so incredibly talented. Him and his staff are very professional kind hard working people and I always love going there.

I got my hair done here a while ago but wanted to comment on here so people can see. This place is unprofessional, a scam and total rip off!!! I spent a total of almost $300 of something I didn’t like. Every time I turn around, I had to pay for something else. Ruben also commented about how horrible my on and off hair dresser did to my hair and that she doesn’t know what she’s doing (the only reason I came to Ruben was because my hair dresser’s salon was closed for a couple of weeks). She absolutely did nothing wrong - all I wanted was a color change. He couldn’t figure out how to take the red out of my hair. I left with bleached hair, had to come back and get it done again. They broke my pockets. Is it really that hard? I’m paying so much money for what? Unprofessional.
I would not recommend this place to anyone at all!!!!
I’ve been going to Ruben for over a decade and it never gets old...the man is talented I’ve learned to stick with Ruben and his team This review is for Jessica, she did my color yesterday to get me ready for what is suppose to be spring in Chicago:) and she didn’t disappoint. Amazing!!!!! She knows her way around color and my hair has so much depth and dimensions. My hair is gorgeous ???? Talent all throughout the salon.
Just went today to get the hair color I’ve been wanting for a while, Ruben did and amazing job. I have gone else where and they couldn’t get it done. Him and his crew are very friendly and the service it’s great. I highly recommend this place! So happy with the results of my hair color.
