Quick Facts About Shoreline Hotel
Shoreline Hotel has a number of strengths that make it a desirable place to stay. Firstly, its location is highly convenient, providing easy access to various activity areas such as the indoor pool, stage shows, fairground, and food shops. This allows guests to easily explore and enjoy all that Butlin's has to offer. Additionally, the hotel offers a clean room with a sea view, which adds to the overall pleasant experience.
The staff at Shoreline Hotel are also commended for their friendliness and helpfulness. Guests mention that the reception staff are accommodating and willing to assist with any needs or inquiries. This positive interaction with staff can greatly enhance the overall stay and create a welcoming atmosphere.
In terms of room amenities, Shoreline Hotel offers well-appointed accommodations. The rooms are described as a good size, with a sofa, TV, tea-making facilities, and a refrigerator. This allows guests to have a comfortable and convenient stay, as they have access to all necessary amenities. The bathroom is also noted to be spacious, further contributing to the satisfaction of guests.
Additionally, Shoreline Hotel is praised for its buffet-style breakfast, which offers a nice basic continental spread. This provides guests with a variety of options to choose from, ensuring that they can start their day off with a satisfying meal. The unlimited nature of the breakfast buffet also adds to its appeal.
There are, however, some weaknesses that should be considered. Some guests have noted issues with the cleanliness of the rooms. While the living area is described as clean, some guests have mentioned issues with the bathroom. Specifically, there have been complaints of wall panels coming away and corners being grimey. These cleanliness concerns can detract from the overall comfort and satisfaction of guests.
Another point of criticism is the limited daily WiFi allowance of 300mb. This is seen as unacceptable in today's modern world, where WiFi is often considered an essential amenity. Guests have reported that the WiFi rarely works or runs out, even when not actively in use. This can be frustrating for guests who rely on WiFi for various purposes during their stay.
Some guests also mentioned issues with the comfort of the beds. While the rooms are described as a good size for a family of four, there have been complaints about the small size of the beds and the hardness of the mattresses. Guests have noted feeling uncomfortable and even fearing falling off the bed during the night. The thinness of the pillows and duvets has also been mentioned as a downside to the comfort of the beds.
It is worth noting that some guests have compared their experience at Shoreline Hotel to previous stays at Oyster Bay within the Butlin's resort. These guests have mentioned a significant difference in the comfort of the mattresses, pillows, and duvets, with Oyster Bay providing a higher level of comfort. This suggests that there may be room for improvement in the quality of bedding at Shoreline Hotel.
In conclusion, Shoreline Hotel offers a convenient location, friendly staff, and well-appointed accommodations. However, there are some weaknesses such as cleanliness issues, limited WiFi, and discomfort with the beds. These factors should be taken into consideration when deciding whether to stay at Shoreline Hotel.

Shoreline hotel is in a good spot for access to everything. Was pretty quiet where we stayed and the room was fairly clean. A bit disappointed with the bathroom, as some of the wall panels had come away from the wall and the corners were quite grimey.
Living area was nice and clean though. The reception and dining staff were really nice, but felt for the winter wonderland experience it lacked something in there.
Breakfast was a nice basic continental spread.
We had the best family holiday so far in Butlin's. And our stay in Shoreline Hotel made it more comfortable and fun. Its location is accessible to mostly surrounding activity areas such as indoor pool, stage shows (Skyline Pavilion), fairground, and food shops. It is a wonderful place to stay, very clean room with a sea view, has lift for our prams and accommodating reception staff. It has made our 4 days holiday extra special. One more thing, all parking areas are smartly allocated near the booked accommodation.
The rooms are a good size with a sofa, tv and tea making facilities. There is also a fridge, hairdryer, iron and board. The bathroom is a really good size. There is a separate area with bunk beds. The beds are quite comfy. The room is clean. Apart from hand soap,no toiletries are supplied. The tea and coffee can be replenished by asking at reception. The reception staff are very helpful and friendly.
Room was clean and spacious. Child friendly. Free WiFi is limited daily to 300mb and rarely worked or ran out when not actually used, resetting to next day. Other longer charges apply. Not acceptable in today's modern world and have never found it limited in other hotels. Food in hotel was nice. Buffet style and unlimited. Close to all amenities.
A very nice hotel to stay at, the room was a decent size for a family of 4. The buffet was great with it's various selection, i admit i did have a fee desserts everytime. Staffs were brilliant thank you to you all.
Enjoyed my stay here. Thought the facilities were of a good standard when you have in mind what you are paying - the room could have been cleaner would be my only criticism
Been to this Bognor regis Butlins 4 times so far and first visit to Shoreline. All previous time been to Oyster bay.
Room was clean and had all you can possibly need. Inc an iron and ironing board, safe, kettle and fridge even.
4 of us- couple and 2 teenagers, were given a room with 2 single beds and bunk bed. So far so good.
Went to sleep that evening and bed felt smaller than standard single bed, were afraid I am going to fall from the bed during the night. And the mattress felt too hard and the pillows and duvet were so thin for my liking. My other half left the same. We have a fair experience when comes to hotels comforts, so I would not say we are luxury seekers.
Never even felt so uncomfortable in my sleep before.
Location of hotel is just perfect. Our room was on 2nd floor- stairs and lift to choose from.
No reception apart from arrival day.
The only suggestion is they need to invest in mattress toppers, duvets and pillows.
The previous times we stayed in Oyster bay and the difference is significant. Mattress, pillows and duvet were on a different lever and I would not say a massive difference when it comes to prices I've paid.
Just arrived at Butins Bogna Regis staying in adopted room not sure what to expect after reading a lot of bad reviews but was very impressed very clean and comfortable check in was smooth and pleasant more to follow as the week goes
