One strength highlighted by multiple reviewers is the friendly and welcoming atmosphere of the pub. Customers consistently mention the lovely welcome they receive from staff and the relaxed ambience that contributes to a pleasant experience. Another strength of The Mill & Brook Place seems to be the wide selection of beverages available. Many reviewers specifically mention the excellent choice of Lincoln Green Ales, indicating that the pub has a strong affiliation with the brewery and ensures a consistent supply of their quality beers. The introduction of guest craft and larger beers is also highlighted, suggesting a commitment to providing a diverse range of options for customers.
Regarding the food, reviewers express satisfaction with the quality and presentation of the dishes they have tried. The pizzas, buffalo chicken bites, and potato bravas are mentioned as being well cooked and beautifully presented. This positive feedback indicates that the pub pays attention to the quality and presentation of its food offerings.

The strengths mentioned by the reviewers demonstrate that The Mill & Brook Place has made positive changes since its takeover by Lincoln Green Brewery and has successfully enhanced the pub's overall offerings.
Despite the overwhelmingly positive comments, there are a few potential weaknesses that should be considered. Firstly, one reviewer mentions missing out on a musical act that was scheduled to perform later in the day. While this is not a fault of the pub itself, it suggests that there may be a lack of clear communication regarding upcoming events or entertainment. This information gap could potentially impact customers who are specifically interested in attending such events.
Additionally, while it is mentioned that there is a large beer garden to the rear, there is no specific feedback provided in the comments regarding the quality or atmosphere of the outdoor area. It is important to note that this aspect of the pub's offerings is not extensively covered in the comments. More information on the beer garden would be valuable in assessing the pub's strengths and weaknesses comprehensively.
In conclusion, The Mill & Brook Place appears to have undergone positive changes since its takeover by Lincoln Green Brewery. The strengths highlighted in the comments include a friendly and welcoming atmosphere, a wide selection of beverages, well-cooked and presented food, tasteful interior design, and affiliation with Lincoln Green Ales. These strengths contribute to the overall positive perception of the pub. However, potential weaknesses in terms of communication about events and limited information about the outdoor area should be taken into consideration when assessing its strengths and weaknesses accurately.

Decided to try this pub again, now it's been taken over by Lincoln Green Brewery and has a new manager. Absolutely, lovely pub, our new local! Always a lovely welcome by all the staff whenever we go in and a really relaxed atmosphere. Great choice of beverages including lots of Lincoln Green Ales.
Decided to try some food last night and so glad we did! Tried the pizza, buffalo chicken bites and potato bravas. All well cooked and presented beautifully.
Definitely recommend a visit. Keep up the good work Ash and the team!
Went in yesterday with the pub under new ownership, Lincoln Green. I had the Hood that was absolutely superb. One of the best pints of beer I've had in a long long time. If these standards are maintained they should do well.
Good quality ales in Long Eaton at last. Warm ,friendly welcome and tasty bar food.
New Lincoln green pub serving their own cask ales and guest craft and larger. Excellent pub, superb location and very nice interior. Well worth a visit
We loved the decor, the atmosphere, the beers and especially the Posh Ploughman's which had been recommended to us by a friend and was why we had visited. Our only disappointment was that we went at lunch time and so missed the musical act playing later in the day, we would have timed it differently had we known that there was a performance on.
Lovely clean pub on the canal bridge. Refurbished around 2018, then changed ownership in 2023 to the Lincoln Green brewery.
Good choice of beers and some lovely bar food, including tapas and Ploughman's lunch.
Great staff. Good prices. Large beer garden to rear.
A fantastic new pub to the Lincoln Green pub co. Comfortable seating, friendly and welcoming environment from staff and customers. Oh yeah and excellent beers.
Since Lincoln Green took over the pub, there is a much-improved ale selection and this is a very welcome addition to the growing presence of real ale pubs now in Long Eaton, Derbyshire.
