Lovely village pub. Visited several times for food and have never been disappointed .Today had meals from the Festive Fayre menu which was on a special offer. It was a beautiful meal. Service by Belle excellent
Cycled here for Sunday lunch and ordered the Salmon steak…… when it came it was hardly a steak it was a strip less than 1 inch wide. It was very over cooked and dry but I thought I would eat it anyway and let the chef know as we were leaving ( I just want to let them know something needs improvement).
Then I took a fork full of the cauliflower cheese that came with my husbands Sunday lunch….I found a strange texture in my mouth that wouldn’t chew so apologising to my husband for having to remove it at the table I discovered a large piece of paper (see picture)
This I immediately complained about and was told it was from the way chef prepared the cauliflower…….. no apology but they did ask if I wanted the cauliflower dish replacing, I refused
I won’t be eating here again
Me and my husband came tonight for the valentines menu. The food was absolutely beautiful presented gorgeous too. We had the garlic mushrooms chicken dish and baked alaska. We have been before for meals and always to perfection. Lovely service from waitresses and waiters well done three horseshoes you did yourselves proud. I’d advise anybody to eat here
We had a lovely meal here on Saturday. The food was delicious, fresh and not badly priced. Nice atmosphere. Would recomend and would go again.
Had salted caramel cheesecake no biscuit base.And it was a dollop of all I can describe as eating margarine..This is not a cheesecake I've never seen a cheesecake like this before I didn't say anything as I'd never have a desert again hence my negative review cheesecake has biscuit base this was hardly any just a tiny bit as if it been grated on bottom snd cheesecake was not set like I say a dollop and it's not worth the money
