Warm friendly atmosphere, people having a good time and ofte live music.

Staff here are truly delightful. I have lived here for 6 years nearly 7, and have never felt so welcome in a pub. The Landlord is a wonderful guy, and since he took this place over my wife and I won't drink elsewhere. He is truly invested in his customers and nothing is too much of a burden. The drink here like the glasses and environment is clean, and prices are very reasonable. Good selection of snacks, wines, draft, larger cider, gins and other spirits. If you are looking for a place to drink with a friendly atmosphere I would encourage you to give this place a try.

Lovely pub and friendly staff. It's a locals bar but everyone made us feel very welcomed. Definitely recommend.

An enjoyable evening of karaoke. Good fun

Amazing little find and my new local. Not only do they sell the cheapest pint in town it's also a great pint. Company there is varied - by all accounts it used to have a dodgy rep for being rough - couldn't be further from the truth now. The manager - a simply fabulous chap from Portugal has done a great job of turning it around. The staff are amazing and if you really want to see the guy in the waistcoat smile ask him to make a really complicated cocktail.

Great little bar..... Nuno is as bubbly as a bottle of champagne and the staff are lovely. The locals are... interesting.
