Quick Facts About Whitewaters Deli Cafe

Whitewaters Deli Cafe has received mostly positive feedback, with customers praising the quality of the food, the reasonable prices, and the pleasant atmosphere. However, there have been some negative comments regarding the portion sizes and the perceived lack of value for money.
One of the strengths of Whitewaters Deli Cafe is the quality of the food. Customers have commented on the use of fresh, high-quality ingredients, and the delicious taste of the dishes. The grilled sandwiches and American-style pancakes have been particularly recommended. Another strength is the reasonably priced coffee, which customers have found to be good-tasting. This combination of good food and reasonably priced drinks enhances the overall dining experience.
The cafe has also been praised for its pleasant vibe and adherence to social distancing measures. Customers have appreciated the spacing between tables, which allows for a comfortable and safe dining experience, especially during the COVID-19 pandemic. The friendly and polite staff have also been mentioned positively, creating a welcoming atmosphere for all customers.
One potential weakness highlighted in a negative comment is the portion sizes. A customer reported feeling unsatisfied and still hungry after their meal, particularly when it came to the pancake dish. The complaint about the small portion size of the pancakes and the bacon sandwich suggests that the cafe may need to review their portion sizes to ensure customers feel they are getting good value for money.
Speaking of value for money, another negative comment mentioned the high price of the breakfast meal. The customer felt that the basic-tasting food did not justify the total cost, especially when they recognized some items as being store-bought. This suggests that the cafe may need to address concerns regarding the perceived lack of value for money and be transparent about the sources of their ingredients.
Despite these criticisms, the majority of customers have recommended Whitewaters Deli Cafe and praised the outstanding food and service. The diverse selection of fillings and bread combinations for sandwiches have been particularly noted as excellent. The use of sourdough bread, in particular, has been highlighted as exceptional. This indicates that the cafe has successfully captured the attention and loyalty of customers through the quality of their menu offerings.
Additionally, the cafe has been commended for its buffet lunch service, with customers highlighting the wonderful food and service provided. This suggests that Whitewaters Deli Cafe could potentially expand its catering services to target corporate clients or events, leveraging its positive reputation.
In terms of the coffee and cake offerings, reviews have been mixed. While one customer found the brownie to be a good-sized and delicious treat, another described the coffee as average. This suggests that the cafe may want to focus on improving the consistency and quality of their coffee offerings to ensure all customers have a positive experience.
Overall, despite the criticisms regarding portion size and value for money, the strengths of Whitewaters Deli Cafe lie in its use of high-quality ingredients, reasonable prices, pleasant atmosphere, and friendly staff. By addressing the concerns raised by customers, such as portion sizes and consistency in coffee quality, the cafe can continue to build on its positive reputation and maintain its customer base.

Lovely little cafe, food not the cheapest but was extremely good made with fresh quality ingredients. Coffee very reasonably priced and tastes good.
Lovely coffee shop. The seats are socially distanced and the cafe had a pleasant vibe. The menu isn’t enormous, but the food is very good. I’d recommend the grilled sandwiches and the American style pancakes which were very nice too. The coffee is okay, and they were able to accommodate alternative milk preferences. The prices were also very reasonable. I’d recommend this place for a nice casual brunch and I intend to come back here.
We had breakfast which came to £49!!!
I had pancakes, expecting them to be homemade large crepe style at £9.50. They were the small round ones you get in a packet at the supermarket. My son had a bacon sandwich at £7.50, two bits of bread, 3 bits of bacon. Normal packet bread, not home made or with a nice crust to it.
My other son also had pancakes, he only got two and a few cut up bits of strawberry and blueberry. We were all still hungry after we had eaten.
I noticed a carton of Apple juice on the shelf in the dining area which I recognised from Aldi. I spoke to the owner and the staff as I was shocked at the total price for basic tasting food and questioned where it was coming from.
My pancakes tasted like the ones you buy from Aldi, if this is the case, at that price, that is disgusting.
I will say all the staff were friendly but we will not return.
Very disappointed.
We came here when Rumsey's was very busy, and we've back since as a first choice. The food is outstanding, a great selection of interesting fillings and combos of breads for a great sandwich menu for a start. The sourdough is especially excellent. Sit outside in the sun if you can, it's lovely. Covid secure too. Highly recommended.
Brilliant food and service! Maria and the team have twice produced wonderful buffet lunches for me for work lunches. Highly recommended!
Only had coffee and cake. Brownie was a good sized piece and was delicious. Coffee americano was average. Lovely staff.
Visited yesterday for the first time and can’t understand why this was the first time, as it won’t be the last.
I enjoyed “the purple” sourdough special and it was delicious and a very generous portion.
On a cold rainy day it was lovely to sit somewhere warm, friendly and enjoy such a lovely lunch.
Wow what a super little find. Lovely polite friendly staff Pip and Maja were just great and the ladies behind the counter Maria and Carmel were super too. Club sandwich to die for ,coffee nice too. Highly recommend.
