Quick Facts About Windsor Fish & Chips

Windsor Fish & Chips place, located to the right of Henllys Farm Campsite and next to the Spar, receives a mix of positive and negative comments. In order to analyze the strengths and weaknesses of the establishment, it is important to consider these comments.
Starting with the strengths, one customer mentions that the mixed Chicken and Doner kebab is the best they have ever had. This suggests that the kebab options at Windsor Fish & Chips are highly regarded and enjoyable. Additionally, another customer praises the staff for being excellent, friendly, and efficient. Friendly and efficient staff contribute to a positive dining experience, making customers feel welcome and taken care of.
Another positive comment mentions that the establishment is exceptionally clean. Cleanliness is an important factor in any dining establishment, and the fact that Windsor Fish & Chips maintains a high level of cleanliness is definitely a strength. This helps to create a sanitary and pleasant dining environment for customers.
Furthermore, the establishment offers sit-in options, providing customers with the choice to eat in a clean and comfortable space. This is considered a strength, as it allows customers to enjoy their meals in a relaxed setting instead of having to eat their food on the go or take it back to their campsite.
On the other hand, there are several weaknesses mentioned in the comments. One customer complains about the quality of the chips, stating that they were dry, wrinkled, and appeared to have been sitting around for at least an hour. This suggests a lack of attention to quality control and freshness of the food. Another customer agrees, stating that the chips were rubbery and tasted old.
Another weakness mentioned is the pre-cut kebab meat. The customer states that the meat should be cut fresh off the slab, suggesting that the pre-cut meat may be drying out and becoming strawy and dry. This indicates a potential lack of attention to the quality and preparation of the kebab meat.
The price of the chips is also mentioned as a weakness. One customer feels that £2.50 for the chips is too expensive, especially considering their poor quality. The price may be seen as a weakness if customers feel that they are not getting good value for their money.
Inconsistency is also brought up in one comment. While one customer had a positive experience with the fish being cooked fresh and the chips not being stale and cold, this indicates that there may be inconsistency in the preparation of the food. Consistency is crucial in maintaining a positive reputation, as customers expect the same level of quality each time they visit an establishment.
In conclusion, Windsor Fish & Chips place has strengths in their kebab options, friendly and efficient staff, cleanliness, and the availability of sit-in options. However, there are weaknesses in the quality of chips, pre-cut kebab meat, high price point for subpar chips, inconsistency in food preparation, and potentially a lack of attention to quality control and freshness. Addressing these weaknesses and maintaining their strengths will help improve the overall dining experience and reputation of Windsor Fish & Chips place.

Best TL Reviews

Staying at Henllys Farm Campsite and this chip shop is just to the right of the campsite entrance next to the Spar.
I have to say the best mixed Chicken and Doner kebab I have ever had.
Many Thanks and keep up the good work ????
Chips dry and wrinkled. I would have been willing to wait, even though the place was empty they gave me chips what have obviously been sitting around for at least an hour. Chips ain't rocket science guys, you must do better, see photo.
Also, the kebab meat should be cut fresh off the slab, not pre cut, god knows how long ago therefore drying it out and making it strawy and dry.
Basically the money I spent was wasted.
And I'm a local.
£2.50 for these chips??
If they were good, no problem, but this is a joke.
Won't eat from here again in a hurry
Stopped by yesterday to give a try. The chicken burger was absolutely delicious as was the donner special pizza. Lil one had the sausage and chips kids meal which he enjoyed. The chips weren't nice at all though very rubbery and old tasting and the gravy tasted very strange. The customer service however was wonderful and they were pretty busy. Very clean and polite. Will go again just won't have the chips. Thank you.
Excellent, friendly and efficient staff. Originally intended to takeaway but everywhere was exceptionally clean so we sat in.
Cash only, so had to nip next door to Spar for an ATM. But food was great, decent portions, and not too pricey either
Not bad for the price sausage wasn't that great but the fish was nice
Great food. Slightly high processor but with the cost of fuel these days this is understable and the food was very nice. It was very clean and staff pleasant.
Didn't know what to expect going in at 10.30pm but fish was cooked fresh and the chips wasn't stale and cold! Decent portion size and not bad value for money - will be coming back for sure!
