Quick Facts About American Nails Inc

American Nails Inc. is a nail salon that has received a mix of positive and negative reviews from customers. In order to evaluate its strengths and weaknesses, we will analyze the comments provided.
One of the strengths highlighted by customers is the good price offered by American Nails Inc. Many customers mentioned that the salon is reasonably priced, especially considering the quality of the service they received. This is an important aspect for customers, as it allows them to get their nails done without breaking the bank.
Another strength mentioned by customers is the variety and quality of the gel manicure selection. The salon seems to have a good range of gel colors, which customers appreciate. The comments suggest that the technicians do a good job in applying the gel manicure and ensuring it matches the desired result.
The massage chairs at American Nails Inc. are also identified as a strength of the salon. Multiple customers mentioned that they enjoyed the massage chairs during their pedicure sessions. This can contribute to a more relaxing and comfortable experience for customers.
In terms of weaknesses, the most common complaint among customers is the long waiting times and issues with appointments. Several customers mentioned that they had to wait for a significant amount of time, even with appointments. This can be frustrating for customers who have busy schedules and need to manage their time efficiently. Additionally, one customer reported that their appointment was delayed by 45 minutes, which is a significant inconvenience.
Another weakness highlighted by customers is the language barrier. One customer mentioned that the technicians at the salon did not speak English, making it difficult for them to communicate their preferences and understand the services being offered. This lack of communication can lead to misunderstandings and dissatisfaction with the overall experience.
Some customers also complained about the quality of the service they received. One customer reported a terrible gel pedicure, with the polish being lumpy and uneven. Another customer mentioned that they were denied an additional layer of polish on their French tip nails, despite paying a high price for the service. These comments suggest that the salon may have inconsistencies in the quality of their services and may not always meet customer expectations.
Lastly, the fumes in the salon were mentioned as an issue by one customer. They expressed the hope that the salon would open the door during warm weather to reduce the fumes. This could be seen as a weakness for customers who are sensitive to strong odors or have respiratory issues.
In conclusion, American Nails Inc. has several strengths, including their affordable prices, a good selection of gel manicure colors, and comfortable massage chairs. However, there are also several weaknesses that should be addressed, such as long waiting times, language barriers, inconsistencies in service quality, and the presence of fumes in the salon. Taking these strengths and weaknesses into consideration, customers should carefully evaluate their own priorities and preferences before deciding whether to visit American Nails Inc.

Good price, no frills, hood spot, great matching gel selection. Quite fumey so I hope they open the door in the warm weather.
Gel mani/reg pedi is around 60 bucks. They do a good job with direction. Call to avoid a wait.
They do a great job and the massage chairs are awesome!
I had a manicure and pedicure on Monday. The service was exceptional. I am very pleased with the results. They are priced well too. The massaging chairs are great too.
Terrible experience. I had an appointment set for 5:30 and they didn’t get me in a chair until 6:15. Then proceeded to give me a terrible gel pedicure. Extremely lumpy and not even (see photo). Then charged me an outrageous amount. Never going there again.
I made an appointment at 1pm and I kid you not, I did not leave until 5pm. As more apparently familiar faces kept coming in, they tended to them first and when I was seated and services were started, it was constantly interrupted for them to tend to others coming in. The place is small and not a lot of staff so I tried to be patient, but they definitely took advantage of that. I got a gel French tip and standard pedicure, when I asked for a third layer of white because the French tips were clearly too opaque, the nail tech just flat out said "No" because she wanted to be done and get to others, but after my patience for hours, you would think I could get another coat of paint. Oh and what's worse is at the end of them wasting my time, they attempted to charge me $229. Yes, $200 plus for a gel mani and pedi. At that point I lost it , their response? "Corrected" the amount to $179. That's still an absurd amount for a gel mani and pedi, no design, no gems, nothing. Basic and a bad job for that amount. SMH. Not even an apology for wasting my entire afternoon or any appreciation for my extended patience. Stay away from this place if you value your time and money and want things done right. There are way too many places nearby that won't refuse another coat of paint.
AMAZING GEL PEDICURE .. ladies this is a hidden pedi gem not the fanciest salon, not the biggest, but I most certainly experienced a quality pedicure service.
This place is definitely NOT American nails they don’t even speak English. I tried talking to them and asking questions and telling them what I wanted and they just stared at me like a doe in headlights. I tried being slower and gesturing what I wanted but there was absolutely NO understanding whatsoever! Then she asked me to pay before she could even understand what I wanted and when she went to paint my nails I asked her to put a design after she charged me and wanted to charge me more! I prefer going somewhere I can get exactly what I want and the technicians can understand English. I left unhappy! My first and last time here! They seem to just do whatever they want without listening or understanding you.
No other nail salon compares. I've been going here for 14 years. Each technician is properly trained and perform the same job across the board; a great job! Have time when you go here. A pedicure can take an hour, that's how thorough they are. An appointment isn't always necessary because you could wait the same amount of time with or without an appointment. It's best to go during non peak hours (mornings during the week or after lunch and before 5pm). They are relatively inexpensive compared to other salons. I can't stress it enough, they do an AMAZING JOB!!!
