Quick Facts About Bassi Sweet Centre

Bassi Sweet Centre has several strengths that are evident from the comments provided. Firstly, their reputation is highly regarded, with one comment stating that once you find this little gem, you wonder how you coped without it. This indicates that Bassi Sweet Centre has built a strong following and is known for providing quality products.
One of the standout strengths of Bassi Sweet Centre is the affordability of their products. One customer mentions ordering 28 samosas for just £10, which is considered amazing. In addition to being inexpensive, the samosas themselves are praised for being "blooming gorgeous". This combination of affordability and deliciousness makes Bassi Sweet Centre an attractive option, especially for those hosting parties or events.
Another strength highlighted in the comments is the freshness and quality of the food. One customer mentions traveling over half an hour just to get food from Bassi Sweet Centre, indicating that the quality of the food is worth the distance. Additionally, it is mentioned that everything is consistently great, and the spice levels are just right. This shows that Bassi Sweet Centre is dedicated to maintaining the quality and taste of their products.
The wide variety of sweets available at Bassi Sweet Centre is also noted as a strength. Despite going in for samosas, one customer remarks that there are loads of amazing sweets in the shop. The fact that the shop always has people waiting suggests that the sweets are highly sought after and of high quality.
However, there are also weaknesses that can be deduced from the comments. One notable weakness is the poor customer experience mentioned by a long-time customer. This customer recounts an incident where they were accused of canceling a payment by the male owner, resulting in embarrassment and frustration. The way the situation was handled by the owner reflects poorly on the customer service provided by Bassi Sweet Centre.
In addition to the poor customer service mentioned by one customer, another comment raises concerns about the owner's wife being rude. It is remarked that a woman of her age should have more manners and respect for customers. The comment suggests that the behavior of the owner's wife could potentially deter customers from returning to the shop.
Another weakness mentioned is the quality of the brown sauce provided with the samosas. One customer describes it as being like water and not knowing how to use it. The watery consistency is said to cause pieces of the samosa to fall into the sauce, making it difficult to enjoy the dipping sauce with the samosas.
Despite these weaknesses, the general consensus is that the food at Bassi Sweet Centre is tasty and the selection of Indian sweets is great. The positive comments regarding the taste, selection, and affordability of the food outweigh the negative experiences mentioned, suggesting that Bassi Sweet Centre still has strengths that attract loyal customers. However, improvements in customer service and the consistency of the dipping sauce could enhance the overall experience for customers.

Best TL Reviews

Bassi's reputation proceeds itself. Once you find this little gem you wonder how you coped without it.
This place is perfect if you're having a party and you are in need of samosas, so at the time of writing this review, I ordered 28 samosas for just £10, I mean, that is amazing BUT not as amazing as the samosas, they were blooming gorgeous ????.
Let's just say I was ......... Yes, I was intending to freeze what was left over. Unfortunately, they went faster than a dropped bag of chips being savaged by seagulls (aka my family)
I did just go for the samosas but there are loads of amazing sweets in the shop and it's always got people inside waiting, so you know it's good if it always has a queue.
Consistently great fresh food. I moved from the area recently but I still travel over half an hour to get the food from here. Everything is great here and the spice levels are just right.
Ultimate insult, after ordering from here for over 20 years, the customer experience has never really been a reason to go back or though the lady is usually more pleasant to deal with than the man. Wife called to place an order for uncooked samosas and I went to collect them, on arrival the male owner asked for payment and presented the card machine to me I inserted the card at which point the owner left to go into the kitchen, after entering the pin number it said approved and a pop up appeared which read complete so I pressed it and the screen went back to the usual home screen. Uncle came back and accused me of cancelling the payment, to which I explained I had pressed complete and that the payment had gone through. I quickly logged in to my mobile banking app to show evidence but uncle was adamant I cancelled the payment and kept repeating to me that "why did you press complete that was his job", I was absolutely shocked and embarrassed to say the least as there were other customers in the store. Uncle then grabbed the bag with the frozen samosas off the front counter and put them out of my reach like I was going to run off with them and said I'm going in the back to check my phone to see if the payment has gone through, even though I was logged onto my mobile banking app which showed the payment had gone through which I tryed to show him but he wasn't having any if it. It was painstaking standing in the shop dying of embarrassment and a little while later uncle came out red faced with a changed demeanor saying yes it's gone through but next time don't press the complete button, thats my job, to which I said there won't be a next time. Uncle asked why won't you be coming back, I explained that I've been coming to you for over 20 years and you accused me of this. After 20 years of spending a huge ammount of money and promoting bassi sweet centre to friends and family in the workplace and in business I was made to feel like a liar and a cheat over £31 which has to be the worst experience as a customer in my life. Take your money elsewhere to people who will value you and don't just see pound notes. Hope this answers your question as to why I won't be coming back.
so far tasted the samosas , yes it’s mainly potatoes but it’s tasty.

women of her age should have more manners and respect customers, because without customers they’re shop wouldn’t be standing.
