Quick Facts About Bilash Spice
Bilash Spice has a number of strengths and weaknesses based on the comments provided. Starting with the strengths, one comment mentioned that the restaurant offers a nice Indian dining experience with plenty of choices on the menu. This indicates that Bilash Spice is able to cater to a wide range of tastes and preferences. Additionally, the comment states that the food is beautiful and the staff provides excellent service. This suggests that the quality of the food is consistently good and that the staff is attentive and friendly. Another positive aspect mentioned is the warm environment of the restaurant, which likely contributes to a pleasant dining experience.
One strength that is highlighted in multiple comments is that Bilash Spice does not have an alcohol license, meaning customers can bring their own drinks. This is seen as a positive because it allows patrons to avoid inflated prices on alcohol and have more control over their beverage choices. Additionally, one comment mentions that there is a local coop nearby where customers can purchase cheap booze. This indicates that there are alternative options available for those who wish to have alcohol with their meal.
Moving on to the weaknesses, one of the most significant issues mentioned in multiple comments is the poor service at Bilash Spice. One customer stated that it took 1 hour and 20 minutes to take their order, while another mentioned waiting 1 hour and 45 minutes for their main course. Slow service can be frustrating for customers and may deter them from returning to the restaurant. Additionally, one comment mentions that they had to ask three times for a jug of water, indicating that there may be issues with attentiveness and responsiveness from the staff.
Another weakness that is mentioned by multiple customers is the average or underwhelming quality of the food. While some individuals enjoyed their meal, others were disappointed by the taste and described it as despicable or basic. This suggests that there may be inconsistencies in the food quality at Bilash Spice, which could impact customer satisfaction.
Portion sizes are also noted as a weakness, with one comment mentioning that they are not the biggest. This may be a concern for customers who prioritize value for money or have larger appetites. Additionally, one comment mentions that the restaurant does not allow wheelchair access due to a step at the entrance. This can be a significant barrier for individuals with mobility issues, limiting the accessibility of the restaurant.
Finally, one comment mentions that customers may have to wait a long time for their order to be brought to the table. This can be frustrating for diners, particularly if they are hungry or on a tight schedule.
In conclusion, Bilash Spice has strengths in terms of menu choices, a warm environment, and the ability to bring your own drinks. However, weaknesses include poor service, average food quality, smaller portion sizes, lack of wheelchair access, and potential delays in receiving orders. These factors should be considered when evaluating the overall dining experience at Bilash Spice.

Awful service & very average food. We were there on a Wednesday night, still took 1.20hrs to take our order, asked for a small coke, got a pint of lukewarm lemonade. Some of us were underwhelmed by the food, some enjoyed theirs. We will not be returning
Nice Indian restaurant with plenty of choice on the menu. Portion sizes are not the biggest but it was fine for me. No alcohol licence so you have to take your own drinks ,but this can be a good thing as you don't have to pay inflated prices . All round a very pleasant evening and will be returning soon.
What a absolute joke of a place 1 hr 45 minutes from taking our order to the main course being served .......even after being asked twice where our food was
A table of 9 , spending over £200 and left sat waiting like we wasn't even there and then served despicable food .....
Avoid yhis place , better off having a cheese sandwich and a cuppa tra
Excellent service, food is beautiful. Been going every week for many years. Arguably the best Indian restaurant in all the local areas. Food in pictures is onion bhajis, meat somosa, chicken silsilla, which is easily there best signature dish and 2 nanns. One plain and one garlic. Always busy any day of the week. It is not a big place, so spaces are limited and it is even worse at the weekends. Suggest booking in advance. Price wise, very acceptable. Doesn't cost a fortune and they do not have an alcohol licence, so you can go to the local coop literally 20 metres away and get cheap booze as well. What more could you ask for?
Excellent food, good value and friendly staff. Warm environment.
Really enjoyed our first time at Bilash Spice. Knocked 1⭐ off because we had to ask 3 times for a jug of water.
It does not allow wheelchair access as they have a step at the entrance door. Food is good for basic tastes. Butter chicken and chicken curry taste the same. Quantity for price is little. But reception from staff is great.
Good restaurant, but you have to wait a long time until they bring your order.
