Quick Facts About Cafe Milano
Cafe Milano has several strengths that make it a popular spot for many customers. Firstly, the cozy and lovely atmosphere of the cafe creates a welcoming environment for visitors. This is further enhanced by the friendly staff who provide quick and attentive service to customers. The homemade style pizzas, sandwiches, and pastries are praised for their fantastic taste, with many customers finding them to be superior to those found in chain coffee shops. Additionally, the large selection of sweet pastries and chilled drinks, including water, cater to various preferences.
The cafe's ability to handle busy periods well is another strength. Customers recommend visiting in the late afternoon when it is less busy, ensuring a more relaxed dining experience. Despite the occasional forgetfulness of staff during busy times, the overall friendliness and quick service make up for these minor lapses. Furthermore, the loyalty and attentiveness of certain staff members, such as the lovely Irish lady mentioned in one of the comments, demonstrate the high level of customer service provided by select individuals working at Cafe Milano.
Positive reviews regarding the quality and taste of the food and drinks are a recurring theme. Multiple customers mention the deliciousness of the dishes, and the lasagna and ravioli are specifically highlighted as the best in the whole of Great Britain. The homemade nature of the food is appreciated, and the cakes are described as being in a class of their own with beautiful flavors. The cafe's commitment to using fresh ingredients and preparing food to order adds to the overall dining experience.
Another strength is the cleanliness and attractiveness of the cafe. Customers comment on the clean and well-maintained environment, making it a pleasant place to dine in. The ample space inside, which may seem deceivingly small from the outside, creates a more comfortable setting for customers.
In terms of weaknesses, a couple of comments mention that certain desserts did not have clearly displayed prices. This lack of transparency can be off-putting for some customers who prefer to know the prices of the items they are ordering upfront.
While the majority of comments are positive, there are a few criticisms. One customer mentions that the apple tart and coffee were not good, indicating that there may be inconsistencies in the quality of certain menu items. Additionally, another customer mentions that the prices can be overpriced. It is important for the cafe to consider the pricing of their menu items to ensure they provide good value for money and remain competitive in the market.
In conclusion, Cafe Milano has several strengths that make it an attractive option for customers seeking a cozy and lovely place to enjoy coffee, sandwiches, and pastries. The friendly staff, tasty food, quick service, and pleasant atmosphere create a positive dining experience. However, the cafe should address minor issues such as forgetting to bring orders during busy times and ensuring clear pricing for all items on the menu. By addressing these weaknesses, Cafe Milano can further enhance its reputation and attract more customers.

Cosy and lovely place. Great to grab a cup of coffee with sandwiches. The coffee actually taste way better than any other chain coffee shops and the homemade style pizza and sandwiches are fantastic. Staffs are usually friendly too but when it gets busy they forget to bring the drinks and foods. Would recommend to go in the late afternoon time as it’s not too busy. Croissant and desert cakes are good too.
Very friendly staff huge selection of sweet pastries. Quick service and tasty savoury pastires as well. Also noce range of chilled drinks including water.
Dined here this morning as a treat for myself after missing breakfast. I was served by a lovely Irish lady, with whom I can find no fault, she was attentive during a busy time, when the other staff were perhaps more dismissive.
I had a latte which was a reasonable size for the price, a delightful apricot pastry, and, what appears to be rare around the UK, a big Sicilian cannolo, with Nutella and none with ricotta unfortunately, but it was still enjoyable for the price of 4.50. Of course, this seems pricey but they really are difficult to find here it seems.
Overall, pleasant and I would dine here again.
Every time I went there food was delicious, staff very nice and polite, really recommended!
Apple tart and coffee were not good, but prices were too overpriced. And some desserts didn't write the price.
Spotted this on the way to appointment at Metro Bank and popped in for late breakfast.
Nicely busy, nice atmosphere. Lovely breakfast and coffee. A fellow, who I can imagine being the proprietor, was very friendly. Twice food and drink that wasn't ours came to our table but our food and drink turned up swiftly.
First time we've visited this place but it definitely won't be the last! Food was exceptional the lasagna and ravioli was best we've had in the whole of great Britain very tasty, lovely homemade food, just what was needed. Cakes are just different class and flavours are just beautiful.
Can't recommend this place enough. Very clean and attractive place to dine in, Service was nice, friendly and attentive. Lots more room inside then first appeared. Went on xmas eve 2022 and will now make it a more regular place to eat and stop for coffee.
A taste of Italy at reasonable prices for Cambridge. The take away coffee and pastry was of an excellent standard the dine in experience was also first class with all food ordered freshly prepared.
