Quick Facts About Casa Di Pizza

Casa Di Pizza, a small family-run restaurant, has received overwhelmingly positive feedback in terms of the quality of its ingredients, food preparation, presentation, flavor, and customer service. The restaurant has been praised for its superb food that surpasses its humble appearance. Diners have expressed that every mouthful is sublime and have consistently had delightful dining experiences at Casa Di Pizza. The warm and welcoming atmosphere is also highlighted as a key strength of the restaurant.
One of the strengths of Casa Di Pizza is the quality of its ingredients. Diners have praised the freshness of the seafood, mentioning that they can taste the sea in their dishes. This indicates that the restaurant takes care in sourcing high-quality ingredients for its menu. The fact that the restaurant makes all its pasta and gnocchi freshly each day also adds to the perception of quality.
Food preparation and presentation are additional strengths of Casa Di Pizza. Diners have consistently commented on the excellent preparation of dishes, with mentions of well-cooked meats, rich sauces, and perfectly executed flavors. The presentation of the food is also noted, with descriptors such as "impeccably prepared" and "beautiful table settings." This suggests that the restaurant pays great attention to detail in both the taste and appearance of its dishes.
Flavor is a crucial aspect of any restaurant, and Casa Di Pizza seems to excel in this area. Multiple comments mention the superb flavor of the food, with phrases like "never disappoints" and "delicious." This indicates that the restaurant consistently delivers flavorful and enjoyable meals to its customers.
The customer service at Casa Di Pizza is highly regarded by reviewers. The friendly and accommodating nature of the staff is consistently mentioned, with the host Natasha singled out for her welcoming demeanor. Good table service is also highlighted, with attentive and knowledgeable waitstaff ensuring a pleasant dining experience. This indicates that the staff at Casa Di Pizza is well-trained and strives to create a positive experience for customers.
However, one potential weakness of Casa Di Pizza is mentioned in a particular comment. A group of diners felt unwelcome due to an issue with the hostess regarding last-minute cancellations. This indicates that the restaurant may not handle unforeseen changes in reservations well and could improve in terms of handling customer concerns or inconveniences.
Another comment mentions that the noise level in the restaurant became an issue due to a larger group at a nearby table. While this is not a direct fault of the restaurant, it indicates that the atmosphere at Casa Di Pizza can be affected by noise levels, which may impact the overall dining experience for some customers.
In terms of variety, Casa Di Pizza offers a wide selection of freshly made pizzas alongside its monthly changing main courses. This variety allows customers to choose according to their preferences, be it pasta, gnocchi, or pizza. The wine list is also noted as outstanding, indicating that the restaurant offers a good range of accompanying drinks.
The authenticity of Casa Di Pizza is praised by reviewers, with the restaurant being described as the most authentic Italian restaurant in the northwest. The fact that the restaurant makes its pasta and gnocchi fresh daily contributes to this perception of authenticity. The ambiance, including the delightful Italian ceramics and glassware, further enhances the feeling of being in a genuine Italian restaurant.
Overall, Casa Di Pizza's strengths lie in the quality of its ingredients, food preparation, presentation, flavor, and customer service. Diners consistently praise the restaurant for its superb food, welcoming atmosphere, and dedication to authenticity. However, improvements could be made in handling last-minute cancellations and managing noise levels to ensure a consistently excellent dining experience for all customers.

Best TL Reviews

Casa Di Pizza is one of those rare gems of a place, where the food it offers belies its humble appearance. A small family run restaurant that does its utmost to provide genuinely superb food in a pleasant and welcoming environment.
Quality of ingredients, food preparation, presentation, and most importantly flavour really is up there with the best. Not forgetting the friendly and accommodating customer service always received.
Always such a treat to dine here - pretty much every mouthful is sublime - it never disappoints. It’s always the first place I bring visiting friends. Natasha is such a welcoming host and is part of the reason why this place has such a special atmosphere. We are so lucky to have this restaurant in our town.
OH MY GOD. this place is delicious so fresh you can taste the sea in the sea food. so warm and welcoming the best Italian restaurant I have eaten at. I would come again and again and again
bel cibo!
thank you xx
The hostess made us feel so unwelcome some of our party felt like walking out. She took issue that some of our party had pulled out over the previous week and a couple at short notice due to unexpected illness. We tried to make the best of it but didn’t really enjoy our meals after that. Our search for an authentic and welcoming pizza place continues…
I was going to start my review by saying that Casa Di Pizza gets better and better, but really it just continues to be simply excellent. Wonderful food accompanied by warm, welcoming and friendly service. Couldn't ask more from Natasha, Alex and Dimitri.
Table service attentive and knowledgeable. 4 of us, 2 ate regular and 2 vegan. I shared a starter of lovely bread and aubergine, and I had pumpkin ravioli as a main which was very nice.
It got a bit noisy as there was a larger group at a nearby table (they weren't rowdy, just talking) so conversation was harder and we had to raise our voices (adding to the noise!)
Would definitely return here. Thank you.
Really good. From the choux parcel starter which was rich and light and melted at the lightest touch, through to the involtini alla bognese which has just the perfect hint of the pecorino to the pistachio tiramisu every part of the meal was impeccably prepared, the small number of covers in the restaurant and the decor just added to the experience as did the staff who helped us all evening. Excellent experience, we will be back.
Opening the door into Casa Di Pizza feels as if, with one step, you’ve walked into a fabulous trattoria in Tuscany. Beautiful table settings and walls full of delightful Italian ceramics and glassware. This is the most authentic Italian restaurant in the north west. They make all their pasta and gnocchi freshly each day, and the locally sourced ingredients are the best. We had a beautiful smoked haddock ravioli and courgette flower fritters with aioli to start. I could make a meal just with the starters! But the main courses which change monthly are equally delicious. Some chicken involtini stuffed with a delicate smoked scamortza (Italian cheese) was presented in a light buttery sauce with pine nuts. The sea bream with a brown shrimp butter was exquisite and the fillet steak in peppercorn sauce was as always, delicious. The beauty of this place means you can also choose from a wide selection of freshly made pizza - and the wine list is outstanding. But the reason we keep returning again and again is that the atmosphere generated by this husband and wife team is perfect. Always warmly welcoming, there’s nowhere better. And the puddings are to die for too.
