This is the worst place ever. Pictures below speak for itself. The first picture of what I asked for. The other two pictures is what I got. I asked to take off since he couldn't follow instructions of doing it correctly. The response was, " I got another customer". UGH NEVER AGAIN. The sign said under new management and new team... if so, team and management is awful ????. They needs alot of training. If you want awful service Pedicure cut into skin until your toes hurt, didn't rinse the sugar off leg. As you can see below, the nail design looks like a child playing with paint.
So, called in for 3 pedicures. Ladies there were amazing. Took my boyfriend and his son for their first pedicure and they loved it. Hooked. They were so nice to him and making sure he was comfortable. Love how attentive they were. The place was very clean and pretty. I would definitely go here again! And I will. Thank you ladies.
I got a dip manicure and a pedicure. Pedicure was fine, looks amazing! However the dip manicure looked like ketchup blobs. I asked for a light Ferrari red and they gave me a dark burgundy and it looked absolutely horrible. No normal manicure procedures were applied like cutting nails, lotion, hot towel, etc. it was horrible. I obviously asked for it to be fixed and they did but after they yelled at me? Like it was my fault? My hands were covered in gel polish and dip powder, they did not clean it up until I asked for them to fix it. Very upsetting. Here is a before and after
I’m super disappointed. Asked for an ombré nails and got this very visible white lines picking through clear powder. Even tho I was mentioning to Edd or whatever was this man name I didn’t like how it was not seamless he still didn’t fix it. Plus I got charged more that he told me before…it was $65 not $45. Guess this guy tip himself since he knew I wouldn’t. I will definitely tell all my neighbors about my experience and the way you cheat costumers.
I've been here twice but both times were great quality experiences. No chip pedicure was worth every penny. Henry is amazing!!! He did my full set with mood change no chip PERFECTLY. Beautiful professional salon and 10% student discount is awesome. Love this place????????
I have been coming to this nail salon for many years. We were there last customers before the world shut down due to COVID. The place was alway clean before COVID and now has safety measures in place post COVID. They always do an amazing job on my nails and pedicures! I highly recommend this business
This nail shop has been really good in the past. It was recently sold to a new couple and the service could not be worse. They are not mindful of appointment times and they ask everyone to have a seat, telling them that they will be with them shortly.
They are clearly understaffed but do not allow for that when taking on additional clients. Which in turn just makes the customer mad and then they leave.
This is not a great location. When the previous owner (who did the build out)was in charge, the foot traffic was very light. It is even lighter now. So to ask people to wait when you don't have the staff is rude service.
The hours posted on the door are not adhered to. I was in the shop when it opened and the owner had the phone on speaker to pick up the voice mails-he deleted them all (mine included), which prompted me to go elsewhere.
I am loyal where ever I go. I have standing 2 week appointments and don't usually reschedule unless there is a true conflict that cannot be avoided. But deleting the voice mails was what pushed me over the edge. Terrible service and not an ounce of remorse. Good luck.
I'm a man. I've never ever had my nails done or been vaguely interested in that service. My wife, however, gets her nails done every two weeks for the entirety of her life (or what feels like it). She is extremely particular and usual always has at least a small (and intermittently very large) criticism. Well, she happened to be around this place for work and got to have an appointment with Ben. I don't think she's had a better experience or product. Timely, personable, and the dip powder has remained intact for >3 weeks (which I'm being told is good). I put this post up because there have been so many positive comments about this service it would be terrible for the universe to be unaware. Thanks again Ben. Even though you are a 1 hour round trip drive (and there is a nail place down the block) you've got some more business coming from Wicker Park.
