Great place to walk your dog, or even just to go by yourself.
Lovely place to walk round. Especially great for dog walkers like us as they have a designated section of the lake for dogs swimming. It's a really great idea and our dog loves it. We travel from South Yorkshire so she can swim safely here.
Apr 2021: Tarmac car park, free parking, dog friendly with designated dog swim pool, suitable for kids. 3 designated coloured/recommended routes showing distance. Beautiful lake and plenty of picnic tables and benches. Plenty of Fishing platforms also. Took kids on small bikes and tarmac route which was perfect. Wheelchair friendly here too.
Stunning parklands here. Easy to get parked, as we were able to get parked even when we thought it would be rammed on weekends.
There is a dedicated swim area for dpgs that the dogs can paddle straight into.
