Quick Facts About Ealing Express
Ealing Express has a mix of strengths and weaknesses, as mentioned in the comments. It is important to consider both aspects when evaluating the restaurant.
Starting with the strengths, Ealing Express is commended for providing food that is cheap, low-cost, and good-tasting. Many customers appreciate the greasy Chinese food, which is often a popular choice for takeaways. The portions are described as generous, which adds value to the overall dining experience. The menu is also praised for offering a wide range of options, including duck, chicken, and beef in meal boxes.
In terms of customer service, there are positive reviews about the staff's understanding of ingredients and allergy information. This is crucial for customers with specific dietary requirements, as it ensures a safe and enjoyable dining experience. Additionally, some reception staff have a good command of English, which helps with communication and understanding customers' needs.
Efficiency is another strength highlighted in the comments. Many customers appreciate the quick service and short waiting times. This is especially important for takeaways, as customers often want their food as soon as possible. Fast service can also be a deciding factor for repeat customers.
The food itself is often praised for being delicious. Several customers mention that the Chinese food is the best they have had in a long time. This indicates that the restaurant puts effort into creating flavorful dishes that leave a positive impression on customers.
However, there are also several weaknesses that have been mentioned. One of the main concerns is the cleanliness of the place. Customers have reported seeing flies in the kitchen and have described the place as dirty. This can significantly impact customers' perceptions and deter them from returning.
Another weakness mentioned is the decrease in overall quality and service. Some customers have been using the restaurant for many years but report that the service has deteriorated in the past six months. This includes long delivery times, cold food, and incorrect orders. Such issues can be frustrating for customers and lead to a decline in customer satisfaction and loyalty.
Pricing is also mentioned as a concern. Several customers complain that the prices have increased significantly since their last visit. This can make the restaurant feel less affordable, especially when compared to competitors in the area. The comment specifically mentions Maxim in Northfields, which is praised for having similar pricing but better food quality.
In summary, Ealing Express has strengths in terms of affordable, good-tasting Chinese food, efficient service, and knowledgeable staff. However, there are weaknesses in terms of cleanliness, declining service quality, and increased prices. It is important for the restaurant to address these weaknesses and maintain its strengths in order to attract and retain customers.
Best TL Reviews
Ordered a takeaway early Friday evening, it was very obvious that it had been mostly re-heated. The ribs had zero meat on, all fat! The prices have gone up massively since we last ordered. Maxim in northfields is so much better, pricing is virtually the same! Unfortunately wasn't open at that time.
Avoid at all costs
Had the Nasi Goreng, place dirty, large slow moving fly came flying out of kitchen.
However food is as you expect for a cheap, low cost and good tasting greasy Chinese food - just don’t expect it to be clean.
Food comes piping hot.
Stunning food, shocking service. Been using them for 15 years now. Food has always been great but the service in the past 6 months has been absolutely shocking. Delivery times have been over an hour and food has been delivered cold, order not correct multiple times and the final straw was giving us the incorrect order after explicitly repeating the order multiple times on the phone to confirm it was correct and then it being delivered without items ordered. If getting from the store I recommended but if getting delivery do not use here.
Such an amazing takeaway restaurant!!
Visited for the first time today. Ordered several dishes and we got our food in under 15 minutes. The food was puping hot and incredibly delicious!! Will definitely be popping back in here soon. Thanks!
Definatly worth ignoring all these fools that left selfish reviews. I would recommend ignoring them.
This place is probably one of the best places for Asian food.
