2. Quick service: Some customers mentioned that they were seated right away and the service started promptly. This efficiency is a positive aspect for individuals who value their time.
3. Refunds: In one comment, it is mentioned that the salon refunded the customer $10 after a complaint. This shows that the salon is willing to acknowledge and rectify mistakes, which can provide reassurance to customers.
4. Carefully treated cuticles: In one comment, the customer mentioned that during a previous visit, their cuticles were treated, and excess skin was trimmed. This indicates that the salon has the capability to provide proper cuticle care.
5. Availability: Despite the negative experiences described by some customers, it is mentioned that the salon was able to accommodate them when their preferred salon was fully booked. This suggests that the salon may have a decent availability for appointments.
Weaknesses:
1. Incorrect and messy application: Several comments mention issues with the application of nail polish and acrylics, such as using the wrong polish color, applying polish unevenly, and leaving dust and excess product on the nails and cuticles. This suggests a lack of attention to detail and poor execution, which can be disappointing for customers.
2. Communication issues: In some comments, it is mentioned that staff members did not communicate effectively, such as not informing the customer about a mistake or not listening to their requests. This lack of communication can result in misunderstandings and unsatisfactory outcomes.
3. False advertising: One comment mentions a truth in advertising violation, where the salon charged $15 more than initially quoted. This can create a sense of mistrust and disappointment in customers who feel misled.
4. Lack of concern for customer satisfaction: In a couple of comments, customers express disappointment with the salon's response to their complaints. The salon's unwillingness to set up an appointment for a fix or refund the money can create frustration and inconvenience for customers.
5. Pain and damage: Several comments describe experiences of pain and damage during the service, such as bleeding cuticles and nails that peel off the next day. This indicates a lack of skill and technique, which can be harmful to the customer's nails and overall experience.
In summary, Elle Nail & Spa place exhibits some strengths, including politeness, quick service, refunds, and cuticle care. However, there are noticeable weaknesses, such as incorrect and messy application, communication issues, false advertising, lack of concern for customer satisfaction, and causing pain and damage to the nails. These weaknesses can significantly impact the customer experience and may deter potential customers from visiting the salon.

I asked to get a pedicure with a red gel nail polish that I picked out of the book they handed me. The man put the wrong polish on, and then walked away without saying a word. After about 15+ minutes, another staff member came over to me. They had to completely redo the color. And even then, it wasn’t neat whatsoever. :( the price was also $15 more than what they told us it would be.
Truth in advertising violation. UPDATE: They refunded my $10. Sign on Ford Rd. still reads $25 for pedicure. Should read, $10 more for men. Didn't cut enough nail off, I had to trim them when I got home. I was treating myself for my birthday but this whole interaction put a damper on it. Oh well, moving on. Added a couple of stars for fixing the issue but they still fought me on correcting the sign.
I went in on a Tuesday afternoon. There was only one person there getting her feet done. I was sat right away and the guy who did my nails was polite. Last time I was there, my cuticles were treated and excess, bad skin trimmed up around the sides of my fingers and lotion applied. I was able to wash in-between the application before polish. He used the nail drill on my cuticles and left the dust from filing all over while apllying the acrylic and just dusted the tops of my nails. The cuticle clipper was used twice and not cleaned while yanking at the cuticle on two nails. Polish was applied and then filed over on a few nails on the sides and a bit on the top. Clear coat and excess acryilic were left on the sides and beyong the cuticles and under on the pads of the fingertips. The first time I came, more care was taken. This time, not so much. Paint job seemed uneven and could see my real thumb nail on the side still. Two stars because he was polite and prompt.
I came in early on Saturday the man was very helpful immediately took me and started my nails but the Yin and Yang symbol I wanted he was not able to do I had to wait for the woman who ended up coming into work late she was very rude I asked for matte black nails I didn’t get it and I asked for the design to be on four of my nails when I tried to tell her she cut me off and said she knew which ones I wanted the design on…clearly she didn’t and I was noticing she wasn’t fully getting the tip of my nails kept having to point out that the tip wasn’t fully painted or that black nails polish was drying all over my cuticle. I let allllll of that go for the next morning my nails to be literally peeling off! I called right away for it to be fixed but since I am a working mother with two small children I don’t have the luxury to just get up and go to the salon whenever and they won’t set me up an appointment to fix it?! Or refund me my money. This is a inconvenience to me on a service I paid them to do for me! $50 for my nails to look terrible a day later, no thank you! Honestly the woman that did my nails seemed more concerned about where the woman waiting for her friend had gone to get her pedicure instead of me the person she was doing the service on.
This place tore up my nails and my cuticles. By the end, 6 of my cuticles were raw and bleeding (yes most were hardly bleeding but still bleeding, lol). It was painful, and it left a burning sensation that lingered for a while. There was also no apology or concern, just a joke about my cuticles bleeding easily! Even with me wincing in pain throughout the process.
They also did not do a great job with the ombre. The very last picture was my reference, and what I walked in with (except grown out a bit). I wanted all my nails to be like the pinkys in that pic, with black accent nails. That's not what I got. I was very unhappy with the entire experience and will not be back.
Oh, in addition, these cost me $70 plus tip. The rainbow nails were $60 plus tip at 69 Nails and Spa on Lilley Rd. Which is where I wanted to go to begin with but they couldn't fit me in. And with the rainbow nails, none of it was painful, none of my cuticles were bleeding.
The WORST manicure and pedicure of my life. They had to repaint my toes 3 times because of how messy they were. Asked for a French manicure and the tips are all crooked. So mad at myself that I just spent $70 for garbage work.
If I could leave zero stars I would. The lady would not tell me her name and took a huge chunk out of my uneven brows that she waved. She instantly denied that she made this mistake (but then said maybe it happened when she cut it) THEN surcharges me 13$ instead of 10. Beware if you care about brows.
Worst nail extension experience ever, I went here for the first time, I told the guy I wanted gel (overlay) nail extensions first he didn't get and he was going to do acrylic then I told him the one you use a board to make the tip. He showed the board I said yes, the he started making the tip, Then he asked me how long you want it I said longer then what he did he said it can't get longer then that ( then y did he ask?) I asked him aren't you going to use that board he said no it makes to much mess! He made a mess of my nails! He kept putting the liquid on my skin which in not suppose to touch the skin then the nail polish he put was all lumped up and un-even... he didn't even treat my cuticles and he put the gel on my skin and all my fingers and nail hurt so bad that tears are coming down my face! I don't know how to take off and I think if I should go to them to take it off or should i go somewhere else. They may be good but my experience sucked. If they didn't know how to do gel nail he could have told me instead of ruining my nails!
I'm so disappointed that I wouldn't recommend this place for nail extensions. A few pictures for you all to decide! The tips are so fat that they touch the skin and are at level of the skin!
