Quick Facts About Fairhaven Hotel

The Fairhaven Hotel in Weymouth seems to have a number of strengths that make it a desirable place to stay. One of the main strengths mentioned by several reviewers is the excellent service provided by the hotel staff. In one comment, a guest mentioned that the staff were amazing and went above and beyond to ensure their wellbeing, even arranging for their belongings to be brought to them in the hospital after they fell ill during their stay. This level of care and attentiveness is highly valued and reflects positively on the hotel.
Another strength of the Fairhaven Hotel is its location. Multiple reviewers mentioned the stunning sea views from their rooms, which added to their overall enjoyment of the stay. The hotel is described as being right on the seafront and within walking distance of shops, bars, and the beach. This convenience of location is an attractive feature for guests looking to explore and enjoy the local area.
In terms of the rooms themselves, guests generally seemed pleased with their accommodations. Multiple reviewers mentioned comfortable beds and newly renovated rooms with nice decor. The cleanliness of the rooms was also emphasized, indicating that the hotel has high standards in housekeeping. These positive comments about the rooms and their amenities suggest that guests can expect a comfortable and enjoyable stay at the Fairhaven Hotel.
On the other hand, there are a few weaknesses mentioned in the comments that potential guests should be aware of. One common complaint is the lack of parking options. Guests noted that long-term parking must be done at a nearby car park, and street parking is limited. While this is not something that the hotel can control, it can still be an inconvenience for guests who have to walk a fair distance or pay for parking.
Another weakness mentioned by a guest is the noise levels within the hotel. Single-glazed windows are identified as a problem, as they allow for noise from the outside as well as fellow guests to be easily heard. This disturbance affected the quality of sleep for one guest, which is an important factor for many when choosing accommodation.
Despite these weaknesses, the Fairhaven Hotel generally received positive feedback from guests. The overall consensus is that the hotel offers good value for money, friendly service, and comfortable rooms. The scenic location and proximity to local amenities make it an appealing choice for those looking to stay in Weymouth. While improvements could be made in certain areas, guests generally seemed satisfied with their experiences at the Fairhaven Hotel.

Mehr ein Rentnerparadies. Abends im Keller Party mit Alleinunterhalter und Dosenbier.... Die Frühstücksabfertigung ist dann wieder Altershimmäßg..
I'd booked a last minute two night stay. Very friendly and courteous welcome at reception and shown to my room. Lovely views of the sea and sand. Unfortunately I became very Ill during my stay and was taken to hospital by ambulance. The hotel staff were amazing. They offered to wait with me for the ambulance to arrive, so kind. As I'd left the hotel in a rush my belongings remained there. They arranged a taxi to collect my bag and bring it to me in the hospital. They were amazing from the moment I arrived, left and beyond. They genuinely care for the wellbeing of their guests. I wouldn't hesitate to book again and would highly recommend a stay to others. A big thank you. Sara C.
The only down side to this place is the lack of parking, for long term parking you have to park on the harbour side car park. The times are very limited for on street parking. The hotel can't obviously control that.
The room was really comfy, lovely bed and a stunning sea view. It was very good value for money and would definitely stay again.
Stayed here at short notice (let down by another B and B). The owner was very accommodating. The room was amazing with Fantastic views across the bay. Within walking distance of shops, bars and beach. Ery clean room. Already booked in for another date.
Room 3*
Newly renovated room, nice decor, painted panelling very cosy. Very comfortable bed and beautiful Seaview.
Room faults* Air conditioning & bathroon mirror light not working. The absolute deal breaker, is that the windows are single glazed and you can hear residents entering/existing, speaking and road noise. Also you can hear other residents entering and walking in the hallway, very bad nights sleep for me.
Location 5*
Right at the sea front, easy to get to.
Price 5*
Price was good for the location and renovated room.
Service 5*
Extremely friendly and helpful.
Parking 2*
Had to walk a fair distance and parking was £12 for 24 hours. Not the hotels fault, as Weymouth has a very odd parking situation but still frustrating nonetheless.
