Strengths: 1. Exceptional staff: Multiple comments mention the exceptional service and friendly staff. This highlights the positive customer service experience provided by Farmer & Friends Cafe. 2. Lovely atmosphere: Commenters appreciate the welcoming and friendly atmosphere of the cafe, which contributes to an enjoyable dining experience. 3. Dog-friendly seating: The cafe offers specific seating for dogs, allowing pet owners to bring their furry friends along. This makes the establishment more inclusive and appealing to dog owners. 4. Quality of food: Many comments praise the quality of the food at Farmer & Friends Cafe. Diners consistently mention the great taste and good quality of the dishes. 5. Reasonable prices: Despite being slightly on the pricier side, multiple comments suggest that the food is reasonably priced given the quality provided. This represents good value for money.
Weaknesses: 1. Lack of farmhouse sausages: One comment expresses disappointment over the absence of farmhouse sausages on the menu. This suggests that the cafe may have limited options for certain types of dishes, potentially affecting the overall menu selection. 2. Limited gluten-free menu: A comment mentions the lack of a large gluten-free menu at the cafe. This may be seen as a weakness for customers with dietary restrictions, as they may have limited options to choose from. 3. Lunch menu for vegetarians/vegans: Although there are some vegetarian options, a customer states that the lunch menu is not great for vegetarians/vegans. This indicates that the cafe could improve its offerings for customers with dietary preferences. 4. Lack of table allocation: One comment notes that customers are not shown to a table, resulting in the need to wait or hover around other diners who appear to be leaving. This suggests a potential lack of efficiency or organization in terms of seating and guiding customers to their tables. 5. Limited breakfast options: While multiple comments express satisfaction with the breakfasts at Farmer & Friends Cafe, the lack of variety or options for breakfast is not mentioned. This may indicate a weakness in terms of the range of breakfast dishes available.
Overall, Farmer & Friends Cafe has several strengths including exceptional staff, a lovely atmosphere, dog-friendly seating, quality food, and reasonable prices. However, there are areas for improvement such as offering more variety for certain dishes (e.g., farmhouse sausages, gluten-free options, vegetarian/vegan lunch menu), addressing the lack of table allocation, and potentially expanding the breakfast menu options. By addressing these weaknesses, the cafe has the potential to further enhance its customer experience and attract a wider range of customers.

A lovely place to go for breakfast, staff were nothing short of exceptional and the look and feel of the place was great. The only reason i couldn't give a 5 star was because it would have been nice to see some nice farmhouse sausages instead of what came out. I think more and more people are looking at the ingredients of the foods and they want quality and traceability.
Fantastic experience, lovely atmosphere and let our pup join us as they have specific seating for dogs. Only let down is not a large gluten free menu but will defiantly visit again.
Nice place for breakfast/brunch. Can get busy. A little on the pricy side but it is reflected in the quality of the food.
Love it here, always nice to come occasionally for lunch. Only complaint would be that you’re not shown to a table so sometimes you have to hover around someone’s table who look like they’re leaving and the lunch menu isn’t that great for vegetarians/vegans but there are bits to choose from, every dish I’ve had which was vegetarian however has been lovely. Staff are also really friendly.
Welcoming atmosphere with friendly staff and owner. The food and cakes are awesome, we will definitely be up for return visits.
Lovely place, been many times before, great food at reasonable prices.
Whilst out perusing Doolittle's pet store, a few of us opted to take a lunch break in this rather popular nearby eatery.
The system was simple .... The menu concise.
Once ordered, the food didn't take all that long to arrive at our table, & impressively the plated meals were all piping hot!
I'd settled for the homemade "Pie Of The Day" (a delicious Steak & Stilton), & I have to announce it was SUPERB!
All other members of our party thoroughly enjoyed their meals too.
Be sure to sample the milkshakes!
Had a few breakfasts here and always been good quality and tasty.
