* revised report * 10/16/2021 last week I rated this place at a one star because of the experience I described below. So I’d like to share how they made this right. The owner saw my complaint below and found me on another social media platform. She explained to me that she was sorry for the experience that I had and they would like to make it right. She went out of her way to find me and contact me multiple times to see when she could make it right. I came back this morning and they did a phenomenal job. They did all the things the other technician failed to do. I have also added new pictures of the work they did on my nails today. The mere fact that the owner went out of her way to find me to make this right and then provide an exceptional experience at no cost after-the-fact speaks volumes about this business. I am completely happy with the job well done today and I very much appreciate the sincerity and care shown today. I now know who to make an appointment with, and I’ll be back. Thank you Gadsden nails.
Original experience: So the experience was not good at all. I’ve been here before and have had way better experiences but the experience I had yesterday was just garbage. The woman who did my nails I had to correct multiple times. She didn’t even check for the evenness of one hand to the next. So I had to do that myself and then tell her where things needed changes. When I asked about the changes to be made she told me that I had old nails. OK? What does that even mean. Really upset me but I didn’t say anything.
When We get to the polish part, The work was sloppy. There were ripples left in the polish itself. I had to again correct these things by saying I needed them fixed. We had to adjust to different times. I was so frustrated by the time I left I didn’t even wanna fight about the polish that was left of my skin around my nails. I’ve gotten my nails done at a lot of different places but this was by far the worst experience I’ve had in years. It could’ve just been the technician who worked with me but all the same she did an awful job and it cost me $40 for a fill and gel polish. Which comparatively speaking is expensive
I would not recommend this place, I know that all nail salons have better technicians than others but if I were to ever return to this place I would specifically not ask for this woman.
I love my nails. The staff was friendly and worked efficiently to service me quickly and listened to my desires.
Horrible service. Waited over an hour after telling us it would only be 30 minutes which I work in customer service so I understand that things happen. However, they were completely skipping people and forgetting people that checked in. A guy did my sisters nails and not only did he do an awful job with the shaping and the polishing, it was simply not what she asked for. Then he tried to tell my sister it was her fault because she only grabbed the pink polish and not the white or glitter needed to do the designs. I get my nails done a lot so I’m familiar with a few things. She showed him the picture of the design which only required her to find the shade of pink on the chart. The other color was white and a dip glitter which the nail tech grabs those because they have the white with them and the glitter is not on the charts. Just gave her solid pink nails that weren’t even the color in the picture. Why would she show you the picture if she didn’t want the designs. It made no sense and it was very unprofessional of him to go back and forth and try to blame my sister when it was simply just a poor service. Will not be going back and will be sharing with my social accounts to never go here.
Nam did my nails and I was SUPER happy with them, got there right when they opened, def recommend him!!
It was cool and laid back to visit. I had on earbuds so I was in my own world anyway. My toes are cute!
I would give five stores but the only time I have no issues is when I come with my bf. The last two times I have come without him and they act as if I'm not here or they didn't notice I was here before certain other people come in, so I'm left waiting while someone else is getting service that walked thru the door 5 min after me. As I'm doing right now....????
The man that did my nails was super racist. He commented on my naturally curly hair and said that it looked like my hair was barbecued. This is exactly why I stopped going to these Asian owned nail salons. I'll never step foot in this place again. TRASH.
They do good on toes but she messed up my nails BAD. I had to just leave, the polish was obviously dirty leaving lumps but she was trying to force it. 55$ ????
