Quick Facts About Gino's Traditional Fish and Chips

Gino's Traditional Fish and Chips has received a range of comments, both positive and negative. These comments highlight various strengths and weaknesses of the establishment.
Starting with the strengths, one customer mentioned that the fish, cod bites, chips, and mushy peas were all hot on delivery. This indicates that Gino's prioritizes ensuring that their food arrives at the customer's home in good condition and at the right temperature. Another customer praised the fish and chips, stating that they were the best they had tasted in a long time. This suggests that Gino's has a strong culinary offering that is well-received by some customers. Additionally, the comment about the staff being brilliant indicates that the establishment provides good customer service and values their employees.
Another strength mentioned is the value for the price. A customer stated that Gino's offers good quality and sized portions at an affordable price. This suggests that the establishment provides good value for money and is competitively priced in its area. Additionally, the mention of excellent service indicates that Gino's takes customer satisfaction seriously and strives to provide a positive dining experience.
Moving on to the weaknesses, one customer expressed disappointment with the kebab from Gino's. They claimed that the kebab meat was cold and that the pitta was wrapped separately from the meat. They also noted that the garlic and chili sauce was nearly non-existent. This suggests that Gino's may have inconsistency in the preparation and presentation of their kebabs and may need to improve the quality and quantity of toppings and sauces.
Another weakness highlighted in a comment is the poor quality of the chip butty and large chips that a customer received. The bun was ripped apart instead of being cut with a knife, and the food was cold. Additionally, the customer observed a staff member picking bits of fish out of a portion of chips with bare hands, which was off-putting. This indicates a lack of attention to detail and hygiene practices on the part of the staff, which can greatly impact the overall customer experience.
Furthermore, one customer had a negative experience with the fish and chips and cod bites from Gino's. They described the batter as rubbery and the fish as smelly. They later fell ill and believed that the fish was not fresh. This raises concerns about the quality of the ingredients used and the overall food safety practices at Gino's. This negative experience could potentially harm the reputation and trust of future customers.
In conclusion, Gino's Traditional Fish and Chips has strengths in terms of hot and delicious food, good value for money, and friendly staff. However, the establishment should address weaknesses such as inconsistency in preparing kebabs, poor quality and presentation of certain food items, and potential food safety issues. Ultimately, Gino's should aim to maintain the strengths while actively working to improve upon the weaknesses identified in the comments.

Best TL Reviews

First time ordering a delivery tonight. Grandson likes the fish from here so thought I'd give it a try for him...Considering I live other end of Blyth the Fish ,cod bites ,chips.@mushy peas were all hot on delivery..
Definitely Best fish and chips I've tasted in a long time ...
Will definitely buy again from here again...
Went here over a year ago and was great with kebab in the pitta Bread like it should be. Mint. Went 2 days ago and kebab meat was cold and pitta wrapped separately to the meat. Garlic and chilli sauce was next to non existent. Was so looking forward to this but never again on my future visits. Staff were brilliant so maybe I just got the wrong day. Get the kebab back in the Bread like it should be and I will check reviews next time I'm up in England.
Ordered a chip butty and large chips .. this is what I received. The bun wasn't even cut with a knife, it was ripped apart. They were busy at the time of ordering, but where is the rest of my food! They were also cold. When placing the order a member of staff was also picking bits of fish out of a portion of chips with her bare hands which then got wrapped up to give to a customer. Unfortunately it has put me off going back to this chip shop.
Best value for price in the area, really good quality and sized portions. Very friendly staff. Highly recommend
chips was hard and pizza was lifting won’t be going back and i wouldn’t even give it a 1 star wasted £22.30
Had cod bites, chips and curry sauce, it was delicious. 5 big cod bites, could only manage 3, so would get the child's portion next time. Good choice on menu and different deals through the week.
Lovely food great prices and excellent service ????
If I could give it 0 star I would. Ordered fish and chips and cod bites and chips for me and my daughter.. The batter was like rubber and the fish was smelly.. Fast forward to tea time me and my daughter are now spewing up and ill as I believe the fish was far from fresh. Fish only ever smells when it's not fresh.. So for the fish to smell the way it did its been sat there for atleast 3 to 4 days. I will be in touch with food standards. And I hope everyone who thinks of ordering from here doesn't.. Save the belly ache.
