Quick Facts About Lomond House Carry Out
Lomond House Carry Out has both strengths and weaknesses based on the comments provided.
Starting with the strengths, several customers mentioned that the food at Lomond House was delicious. They specifically highlighted the "fantastic variety" and the fact that the food was "well cooked." This indicates that the restaurant offers a wide range of options and takes care in preparing their dishes. Additionally, the portion sizes were mentioned as being large, which is appealing for those looking to share a meal or get a good value for their money.
Another strength mentioned by customers was the friendliness of the staff. The woman at the front desk was described as "friendly and efficient" and the overall staff were praised for being "so friendly." Good customer service can enhance the overall dining experience and make customers feel valued and satisfied.
The efficiency of the service was also mentioned as a strength. Despite the kitchen being busy, customers did not have to wait too long for their meals to be prepared. Fast service is important in the takeaway industry, as customers typically expect their food to be ready quickly.
Moving on to the weaknesses, one customer had a negative experience with their order. They specifically mentioned that they asked for no peas in their chicken curry but received chili instead, leading to an additional charge of 50p. This indicates a potential issue with the accuracy of orders and the communication between the customer and the restaurant.
Another customer mentioned that the curry they received was not hot and appeared to be precooked in a "bain-marie." This suggests that there may be a lack of attention to detail in terms of food quality and temperature.
One customer mentioned that the curry sauce they received was bright orange in color and did not taste good. This indicates a potential issue with the flavor and quality of some of the dishes. Additionally, this customer mentioned that most of the curry went in the bin, implying that the food was not enjoyable.
The limited payment options were mentioned as a weakness by one customer. Lomond House only accepts cash, which may be inconvenient for those who prefer to pay with cards or other methods.
Another weakness mentioned was the interference on the TV screen in the restaurant, which was described as permanently distracting and affecting the customer's appetite and mental well-being. This suggests a potential issue with the ambiance and overall environment of the restaurant.
Lastly, one customer had a disappointing experience with their order. They mentioned that the chicken satay was bland and some of the chicken was tough. They also noted that there were no free prawn crackers, which they were expecting based on a previous order. Additionally, their partner's salt and pepper chicken was prepared differently than expected, with raw vegetables served underneath the cooked chicken. This indicates potential inconsistency in the quality and preparation of dishes.
In conclusion, Lomond House Carry Out has strengths in terms of delicious food, friendly staff, and fast service. However, there are several weaknesses in terms of order accuracy, food quality, limited payment options, disruptive ambiance, and inconsistency in preparation. These weaknesses should be addressed for the restaurant to improve its overall customer experience.

Asked for no peas but instead of wanted chilli in my breast of chicken curry and got charged 50p extra ???????? and the curry was not even hot like it was in a bainmarie and also was 23 pound for a curry from a bain Marie that's why it was cooked so quickly poor show folks and didn't enjoy my experience thanks graeme x
Lovely food. Worst delivery and they don't care
I've used Lomond House for a Chinese carry out meal twice recently and thoroughly enjoyed my dinner. The woman on the desk was very friendly and efficient at her job and I didn't need to wait too long for my meal despite the kitchen being very busy with orders.
Staff were so friendly, food delicious
Fantastic variety on offer and well cooked. Large portion sizes means you can share between two if you're choking for a takeaway but also counting the calories. Can't go wrong here
Never seen curry sauce like it, bright orange in colour. Didn't taste good at all either... Most of it went in the bin.
No frills Chinese takeaway. Don't accept any method of payment other than cash.
Fast service, food alright - it's tasty but just don't expect high end cuisine.
Make sure you bring your phone to pass the time while you wait for your order as the permanent interference on their TV screen will ruin your appetite, as well as your mental well being.
This is the second time I have eaten from Lomond House, the chicken satay was good the first time however this time after waiting 1 hour 45 minutes my chicken satay was very bland some of the chicken was tough and there were no free prawn crackers (gutted). My partner had salt and pepper chicken which is not cooked with the peppers and onions, instead raw veg is put in the tub and the chicken dusted with spices and added on top of the raw veg. Very disappointing after an enjoyable first order. Safe to say I won’t be ordering from here again as I have already thrown the menu in the bin.
