Quick Facts About Loy Kee Chop Suey Bar
Loy Kee Chop Suey Bar has been a beloved Chinese restaurant for many years, but recently, some customers have noticed a decline in the quality of the food. One customer expressed disappointment in the dry fried rice, runny curry sauce, and undercooked chips. They also noticed that the chicken was cut smaller and had a different texture than usual. This is a concerning change, especially for a long-time customer who has always had a high standard of food at Loy Kee.
However, not all customers have had negative experiences. Some have been loyal patrons for over 20 years and still find the food to be of good quality. They appreciate the well-cooked dishes and friendly staff. These customers believe that Loy Kee is a hidden gem in Chorley and encourage others to give it a try.
Another customer agrees that Loy Kee is a hidden gem and describes the food as five-star quality with good portion sizes. However, they note that Loy Kee only accepts cash payments, does not offer delivery, and has recently increased their prices. These factors may make it less convenient for some customers to visit Loy Kee.
One customer had a positive experience with Loy Kee's quick service. They were able to order and pick up their food within 20 minutes, which is impressive compared to other Chinese takeaways in the area. This customer highly recommends Loy Kee as the best Chinese restaurant in Chorley.
Another satisfied customer loves getting a takeaway treat from Loy Kee. They praise the good food and describe the staff as nice, polite, and friendly. The customer specifically recommends trying the special fried rice or Singapore Vermicelli, along with curry sauce and prawn crackers.
However, not all experiences have been positive. One customer had their first takeaway from Loy Kee and was extremely impressed, considering it the best Chinese in Chorley. This positive review stands in contrast to the previous customer who mentioned a decline in the quality of their orders.
Another customer has had mostly excellent experiences with Loy Kee after ordering many times. However, they did experience a longer than usual wait on one occasion and noticed that the restaurant seemed to be understaffed, resulting in a large queue forming. Nonetheless, they did not have any other problems and mentioned that Loy Kee adhered to social distancing guidelines during the global pandemic.
Lastly, a customer who enjoys the food at Loy Kee mentioned that they have recently had two incorrect orders and have had to microwave their curry when they get home. They also experienced a long wait during their last visit. These issues with incorrect orders and waiting times can be frustrating for customers who expect a high level of service and accuracy.
In conclusion, Loy Kee Chop Suey Bar has received mixed reviews from customers. While some praise the food quality, friendly staff, and quick service, others have noticed a decline in the quality of the food, experienced incorrect orders, and had to endure longer waiting times. It is essential for Loy Kee to address these weaknesses in order to maintain their reputation as a reliable and enjoyable Chinese restaurant in Chorley.

I have been an avid customer for a number of years, but something has changed at Loy Kee. Normally the food is of very high standard, but this evening is was woeful. Dry fried rice, runny curry sauce and undercooked chips. Even down to chicken cut smaller and of different texture. Not something I have ever experienced over the years. Going to have choice but to take my business elsewhere
