Best TL Reviews

Worst full set service I’ve ever received.
The guy that did my nails did not shape my nails good and I think he put big size nails on my fingers.
I did let him know I wasn’t ok with the shape and he just ignored me.
Not sure what his name was but he was wearing gold glasses and gold chain today.
If you’re looking for a relaxing or good pedicure skip this place. Two other people and myself were out in 15 mins. My toes also look like they were painted by a 5 year old. Just ridiculous.- I’ll add that I was wearing Sandals and waited 5 mins before getting out of my chair and then sat at the drying station. I didn’t notice how bad they were until I got home. They look ok from far away.
Edit: Kevin had me come in and he fixed them and they look amazing. He was very apologetic and did a great job fixing my nails. (Light pink with design)
Just got a full set and pedicure. Went we got there the girl at the front desk was so sweet but the man was very rude to us when we didn't was to get gel instead of regular polish. We got our pedicures done and they did a good job. We then got our nails done and the people I was with had a good experience but they only got a manicure. I got a full set and it turned out very bad. Half my nails are crooked, the gel is lumpy(because they talked me into gel), and it looks like they've been grown out and need a full already. I am so disappointed!(long peach)
First time there - I had a good experience with Tony. I would go back again.
Great quality product is always ensuring my nails last much longer then many other local places. They have a little bit of a wait some days but it’s worth it! The nails pictures are already 2 weeks old!
I HATE LEAVING BAD REVIEWS, but this is a long one and much needed to prepare people before scheduling at this place.
Don't let the looks of this place deceive you. It looks nice and fancy, and they charge higher than other salons but the only nice thing about this place is the girls (receptionists) scheduling appointments and answering the phones. Other than that, as a customer who has been going there for a while and have let a few of their mistakes (sometimes waiting longer than I should, accommodating my schedule for theirs...etc) slide here and there, the nail tech failing to do certain designs I've asked for, settling for other designs, nails chipping after a few hours, having to come back for them to fix it (on their time- not mine) I still chose to give them chance after chance. But as a loyal customer sometimes ENOUGH is ENOUGH.
I happened to schedule an appointment the day my daughter had her graduation but with enough time that I would be out and able to make it. Before leaving for my appointment, I called them to ask them nicely if the nail tech was running on time and if he wasn't, it would be fine for me to reschedule...a guy answered the phone, he then gave my nail tech the phone and he was extremely rude in the way he was speaking to me. I thought that maybe he wasn't understanding what I was saying so I tried to say it in different ways. After a while of him yelling and not even saying sorry, I asked to speak to someone who understands what I was trying to do, the other guy got on the phone and said that the nail tech did not have time and for me to come later. I explained that it was my daughter's graduation and this was the one day that I could not accommodate their schedule but I didn't appreciate the way they were speaking to me. I canceled the appointment and said 'I'll call back to reschedule (letting another one slide) I called back to schedule and the receptionist gives me an appointment, to then call me a few minutes later to say that the nail tech could not schedule with me because he's always running late and gets stressed out. I guess they don't take complaints from customers very well (and I only complained about him taking me late one time. And when I called to see if he was running on time. The other time I called to say I was not happy was when my nails kept chipping right after I had left for my appointment and then having to go back for them to fix it a second time. Then chipping again while I was away and could not come back right away and I was a little frustrated for needing to go back for fixing a third time. I told them nicely that maybe they needed to throw the nail polish away to make sure it didn't happen to another customer.
As I said before they don't take negative feedback well. As long as I have been going there those are the only times I've complained.
The customers should not be afraid to say when they aren't happy about something they paid for. The managers are very arrogant and unprofessional when it comes to handling something like this. There's PLENTY of other nail salons in Calvert and better techs. Only reason why I settled coming here for so long was because the nail tech was always available since the good techs are booked way in advance at other salons. Guess that says something about this place after all.
I don’t often get my nails done, however I decided to treat myself to a pedi and gel mani prior to going on vacation. I ended up with the worst nail tech, while doing my pedicure he mainly watched a soccer game instead. I asked for a design on my nails and I should not have, as it didn’t turn out good at all. I asked for them to be round, and he made them square. I ended up filing them myself. I’ve never walked out of a nail salon absolutely hating my nails. My 6 year old nephew could’ve done a better job. Just do your nails yourself, you’ll be better off :)
Two of my nails broke within a week of getting them done. When I went back to get them fixed the staff was very rude and abrupt . They also did a poor job on the nails as they don’t look like the rest of the set. I won’t be returning.
