Been here many times and I'll keep coming back as long as the chips remain as good as this. Perfectly browned and crisp but soft in the middle, these are the best chips in the county.
My son had fish in batter which was lovely, and I had the amazing homemade fish cakes. They're delicious!
If you expect service with a smile then go somewhere else all the staff were miserable and not polite. The fish was swimming in grease and the batter was soggy and inedible the chips were small and hard were more like bits than chips. Will not be going here again as it is the worse takeaway I have been too
Amazing food and great staff, one of the only few left in Rhyl who provide a good service and great food. I highly recommend.
We have a caravan in rhyl and have tried some of the chip shops locally. This was by far the best. We will definitely return.
Went here tonight and was very pleased with fish and chips. They tasted fresh and both chips and fish were crunchy. I didn't have to wait too long. One minor slight irritant was that the fish was bagged separately from chips. It's just a slight faff if you eating them in a car.
The girls looked clean and tidy, but noticed no hair bands or gloves. I wish fish and chip staff did this. I think we all more thinking about hygiene since COVID. I just think if they are handling change and can you imagine finding a hair in your chips?!
The place is always so busy, so thought would give it a try, such a shame. The pie top was rock solid unedable, the chips tasted stale as if they have been cooked day before and re heated. The whole family did not enjoy.
Excellent fish and chips . Proper crispy batter white flaky fish with taste which makes a pleasant change from some places where its tasteless and soggy. Chips really well cooked to no grease.
Such a good chippy, food is good, they do a specials board, low prices, staff are always nice and they never get your order wrong. You know its good because its always busy. But you never have to wait that long for your food. I normally collect a chippy order for work at lunch time on a Friday, I usually write a list, hand it over and wait. They even write everyone's names on the order so I hand them out back at the office. We love them.
