First class chip shop. Lots of variety. Great efficient service. Usually busy but the staff are quick, friendly and up to the task.
Ordered for delivery tonight. Delivery was to be between 2110 and 2130....it's now 2200 and I am still waiting despite the just eat app saying to enjoy my food! Tried to call Manny's , no answer. Very disappointed, have always had great service and food from here. Plus my bank balance is £13 lighter with nothing to show for it. Update: tried several times to call without success, it is now after midnight. No food delivery and shop now closed.
Ordered a simple fish supper (delivery). My fish arrived essentially unbattered. Chips entirely unseasoned (who orders plain chip?). Call them and they send another one out. Waited 30 minutes and ended up with the exact same. Mannys is a fish and chip shop that can neither make fish nor chips. Don't waste your time. Sphinx, captains table or cod house instead.
Don't bother if your in a hurry. Order is taken without payment, you then wait 20 mins to be asked what you ordered. Happened before, gave benefit of the doubt, 2 weeks later happens again, only ordered Gravy Chip, 25 minutes, go to Captains Table instead
Been twice, both times food was cold. Food is nice but having to wait twice for 1 order is off putting. The staff are talking to each other than serving customers
Disappointed. My husband had been looking forward to a fish supper. Fish was either poor quality or over cooked. Would not be in a hurry back.
