Quick Facts About No.1 DoveHouse Parade

No.1 DoveHouse Parade seems to have several strengths and weaknesses based on the comments provided.
One of the strengths mentioned is that it is a busy breakfast spot, which indicates that it is popular among customers. This could mean that the food and service are generally good. Another strength is the friendly and welcoming staff, which creates a positive and inviting atmosphere. The quality of the food is also praised in multiple comments, with one customer specifically mentioning the excellent food and great service. The cafe also offers a lovely setting with space outside to sit under cover, which is a bonus for customers who want to bring their pets or enjoy the outdoors. Additionally, the value for money is mentioned positively in a comment about the £6.90 breakfast.
However, there are some weaknesses that should be addressed. One comment mentions that things moved slowly due to the volume of orders, which could be a problem if customers are in a hurry. Additionally, another customer points out that they had to wait for a second cappuccino that never arrived. This indicates that there might have been a lapse in communication or efficiency in the service. Another weakness mentioned is the loud music, which bothered one customer. Having music that is too loud can interfere with conversations and the overall dining experience. Furthermore, it is noted that there is poor phone reception and apparent lack of WiFi, which can be inconvenient for customers who want to use their devices or make calls while at the cafe. Lastly, one comment suggests playing music instead of having the TV on in the background, which implies that the choice of background noise could be improved.
Overall, No.1 DoveHouse Parade seems to have strengths in its popularity, friendly staff, excellent food, and value for money. However, there are some areas that could be improved, such as the speed of service, communication, background noise choices, and provision of WiFi and phone reception. By addressing these weaknesses, the cafe could enhance the overall customer experience and further establish itself as a top breakfast spot in the area.

Busy breakfast spot. Went for the veggie breakfast, which was ok - I have had worse. Coffee ok. Two staff, one in kitchen, one on counter. Friendly and welcoming but things moved slow with the volume of orders (there appeared to be phoned-in orders being prepped for collection/delivery too). I ordered a second cappuccino which never materialised, but at least I wasn't billed for it
Excellent food and great service. We visited mid morning 29/11. Unfortunately there was what appeared to be a large booking by representatives from ASLEF (or UNISON) who were very noisy and stayed for ages.. the food was excellent though and the service was spot on
Lovely cafe setting with space outside to sit under cover and in the warmth of their heaters with my doggo after a weekend walk.
It's my Saturday morning ritual now and the breakkies are very reasonable and nice quality.
Went for an England game on a Caribbean food night and the food and atmosphere was great, the Caribbean food is only Thursday to Saturday I believe, with the host venue providing great food the other nights
Went in this morning with my son and both had the £6.90 breakfast. Brilliant value, quality ingredients and beautifully cooked. Also had fresh orange juice and flat white coffee. So lucky having this great local cafe on the doorstep. Staff are always friendly and welcoming.
Didn't have food so can't stay bit a lovely place, music a bit loud though for such a tiny venue
Very impressed. Nice place, nice coffee. I only went there for a quick coffee and to work for a while but I'd have happily had a meal there. Only thing that let it down was the poor phone reception and apparent lack of WiFi. Otherwise, nice place!
Really lovely. Staff are super friendly. Simple but tasty homemade food. Perfect for a filling, tasty lunch. Good value too. Only didn't get 5 stars because of the TV on in the background ,- music playing would he so much better than daytime TV!
