So Sat night 5:15pm phoned in an order. Arrived 40 minutes later paid the guy and when we looked at our order it wasn’t what we ordered !! Called them up and they said they would get our correct order out to us ! 7pm and no food has arrived called them up and was told the delivery guy is on his way but has other deliveries to do ???? You would think under the circumstances our delivery would have been first instead we are still waiting… Would never use this Chinese carry out again !! So update now 7:15pm and the delivery arrived and its wrong ????So hubby is driving round with the two wrong orders to get a refund.
So no dinner for us tonight we are absolutely fuming
It's Really a hit or a miss, the rice is usually dry nd chips are days old the majority of the times we've ordered. Some dishes are lovely but you have to know what to ask for in order to have it fresh, fresh wich is kinda expected with all orders regarding food tbf. Not the best Chinese anymore, did use to be.
Chicken was full of bad bits, basically inedible! Chicken balls, onion rings was full of grease. Was the most bland thing I’ve ever had the curry didn’t taste of anything either, we phoned to complain (5 times) before answer, got told we could get £2 off next order (paid £16) due to it being to busy. Then we got passed onto the owner who then hung up on us! Will never be ordering from here again.

Normally very good, but not this time.
Sent the wrong order and the woman on the phone had the nerve to say we ordered what they delivered (considering the dish they delivered isn't on the menu might have gave it away), plus the missing dish was delivered a hour later. Spend your money elsewhere as this mob don't deserve it!.

Waited over an hour for food to be delivered - weren't given any indication of how long it would be when we ordered. When food finally arrived it was cold and one of the dishes had meat in it instead of the vegetarian meal I'd ordered. Chips and rice were dry and tasted like they were at least a day old. Won't be wasting money ordering from here again!
Absolutely atrocious behavior from them. After ordering a meal and it being promised within An hour I asked if it would be. The chap on the phone altered his mind and made it 1 and a quarter hour. It turned up an hour and three quarters. I phoned in between because the price they advised me was not what was on the menu so they over charged me and when I quizzed about it they hung up on me. I phoned back. They hung up on me again. I phoned back and they Hung up on me again. Now I know they have a sophisticated telephone system that identifies the caller and in subsequent calls to them to complain have ignored all 45 of them, presumably as they know it's my number. And my order is missing items and amongst the items delivered even these are wrong. I can't tell them this because they refuse to answer my call. This is not the first problem I've had with this restaurant but I can tell you this it's the last. There customer service sucks. And there food is not much better.........avoid unless you want disappointment and pretty rubbish food. I'd hate anyone else to go through this and end up with a bad taste in their mouth. Look elsewhere
Ordered food for 5.15 to be picked up. I get a call from Oriental Cottage 4.40 asking when I'm picking the food up. I tell them I ordered for 5.15, they say sorry we'll cook again fresh for you. I express concern I hope it's not being kept warm, I am assured it will be fresh. I pick it up at 5.15 and ask again is it fresh. Yes, I'm told. Then you try to over charge me but I know how much it is. I get home to find the food is not fresh at all. Dried up and cold. I rang and asked for refund as it was inedible. Offered another meal but we had our grandchildren sleeping over so was not convenient. Then girl on phone started making up lies so decided wasting my time.
