Quick Facts About Pizza Baby
Pizza Baby Place, as described in the comments, has several strengths and weaknesses. The strengths of the restaurant include the great ice cream, the friendly and helpful staff, and the fair prices with the Pizza Night offer. However, there are several weaknesses that need to be addressed, including the tasteless pizzas, the rock-hard base and excessive dough, the dry garlic bread, and the lack of receipt. Additionally, there are inconsistencies between the online menu and the one in the restaurant, a long wait time for the food, poorly trained staff, hit-or-miss pizza quality, and issues with service and hygiene.
One of the strengths of Pizza Baby Place, as mentioned by one commenter, is the great ice cream. This suggests that the restaurant has a quality dessert option that customers can enjoy. This is a positive aspect that the restaurant can build upon and promote to attract more customers who are looking for a sweet treat after their meal. Additionally, the friendly and helpful staff mentioned by another commenter is also a strength. Good customer service is essential to providing a positive dining experience, and having staff who are attentive and accommodating can greatly contribute to customer satisfaction.
Another strength mentioned in the comments is the fair prices with the Pizza Night offer. This demonstrates that the restaurant offers affordable options for customers, making it an attractive choice for those who are looking for a budget-friendly dining experience. By promoting these fair prices and special offers, Pizza Baby Place can attract more customers who are conscious of their spending while still wanting to enjoy a meal out.
However, there are several weaknesses that have been highlighted in the comments. One common complaint is the tasteless pizzas. The lack of flavor in the pizza sauce and the rock-hard base indicate a lack of attention to detail and poor quality control in the kitchen. This is a major weakness for a restaurant that specializes in making pizza, as the quality and taste of the pizza are essential to customer satisfaction.
Another weakness mentioned in the comments is the inconsistency between the online menu and the one in the restaurant. This can be confusing for customers and may lead to disappointment if they expect certain menu items that are not available in the restaurant. To rectify this issue, the restaurant should ensure that the online menu is updated regularly and accurately reflects the options available in the restaurant. Clear communication between the online platform and the physical restaurant is important to avoid misunderstandings and customer dissatisfaction.
The comments also mention a long wait time for the food, which is a major weakness for any restaurant. Waiting for 40 minutes for pizza, especially when there were no other customers to attend to, is an unacceptable delay. This can lead to frustration and a negative overall dining experience. The restaurant should address this issue by improving their food preparation and service efficiency to ensure timely delivery of orders.
Another weakness highlighted in the comments is the poor training of the staff. This is evident from the staff member's lack of knowledge about the menu and the blank expression on their face when asked for a menu. Poorly trained staff can create a negative impression of the restaurant and lead to mistakes in order taking and food preparation. It is crucial for Pizza Baby Place to invest in proper training and ongoing education for their staff to ensure that they can provide excellent customer service and accurately represent the brand.
Hygiene is another area of weakness mentioned in the comments. The comment about chefs and food preps not wearing hair nets, having false/painted nails, and not using gloves while serving food raises concerns about the cleanliness and safety standards in the kitchen. Poor hygiene practices can lead to foodborne illnesses and can have serious consequences for the reputation of the restaurant. It is imperative that Pizza Baby Place prioritizes proper hygiene protocols, enforces strict standards, and ensures all staff members adhere to them.
In conclusion, Pizza Baby Place has strengths such as great ice cream, friendly staff, and fair prices with special offers. However, there are several weaknesses that need to be addressed, including tasteless pizzas, inconsistencies between the online and in-restaurant menus, long wait times, poorly trained staff, hit-or-miss pizza quality, and issues with service and hygiene. By addressing these weaknesses, Pizza Baby Place can improve its overall dining experience and attract more satisfied customers.
Best TL Reviews
I had high hopes for this restaurant that specialises in making pizza. They failed big time. The pizzas have no taste must be the pizza sauce. The base was rock hard and too much dough I thought it was a thin base stretched but that's not the case. The garlic bread is pretty dry. Also no receipt was told I will get one on a email but it never come. Would never return.
On a side note the menu on the website is different to the one in the restaurant less choice.
TL;DR AVOID THIS PLACE (nice ice cream) would give zero stars if possible.
Had a walk down to pizza baby with the kids after school for a treat. We went up to kiosk to ask for a menu and it’s at this point if I was alone I would have just walked away. We ask the staff member behind the counter if we can please have a menu as we were not sure if there was a limited menu etc. nothing any wear to explain this, the staff member just stared at me with a blank expression on his face like I had just walked up and placed an placed an order in another language… eventually I managed to coax out of him that there are two boards with the menu on I did have other questions to ask but just didn’t bother as we only just managed to establish that the menu was on a board I doubt he was even aware they served pizza. We decided to get a margarita pizza and and a Philly Me Belly Cheese Staek Pizza. We also got some coconut ice cream witch was spot on great flavours and taste. Then the long wait started bearing in mind we were the only people there apart from a few people getting a coffee witch they took about 3 sips of and dumped them on a table and walked away not sure what all that was about… so around 40minuets after arriving I went Back to the counter to try and find out what was taking so long as about 3 just eat orders had gone out in the time we were waiting along with seemingly random people just walking right up to the kitchen and walking back out with pizzas they were not delivery drivers… anyway we got our pizza’s the magenta looked good. The cheese staek pizza however was massively undercooked I mean the cheese wasn’t even browned off and had about 3 bits of steak randomly thrown on top. It’s beyond me how you can cook 2 pizzas and one is nicely cooked and one is like raw dough I mean common guys you had 40 minutes to do this I could have driven to Leeds in the time it took to cook 1 pizza and totally mess another up. There was no apology for having to wait this long from the staff I could have complained at this point but had already waited 40 minutes and just wanted to leave.
I don’t understand how these places don’t get the basics nailed down it’s really not that hard as somebody who had a career in the industry and there is no excuse for it really. I suppose that’s why there only there a few months then its renamed or shutdown rebel smoke house prime example just to name one. Anyway to summarise:
Great ice cream
Extremely Poorly trained staff
Hit and miss pizza
Long wait time
Staff were brilliant, food for 9 was delivered quickly and all at the same time. I had the dirty bird burger and it was delicious, I was somewhat envious of the pizzas though as they were so big. There was an endless supply of slushies (both alcoholic and not) and was overall a perfect first outing. Felt safe the entire time and the staff went out of their way to help us feel comfortable. Will be going back as often as possible!
Visited this restaurant and was appalled by the quality of the food served up. The chips were cold and contained so much salt/seasoning that they were inedible. The burger was hot but over seasoned.
My wife and I had to visit Costa Coffee (next door) to get a coffee and cake to take away the salty taste. I eat out at least 3 times a week and have never reviewed an eatery before but have got to say it was the worst experience I have ever had.
Terrible service, staff didn't have a clue what they where doing, waited an hour for food which then turned up cold, swimming in grease and in a dirty bowl. Drinks app wouldn't work, so couldn't order drinks. Poor hygiene level as chefs/food preps didn't wear hair nets, had false/painted nails, no gloves while serving up food. I experienced food poisoning from the chicken carbanara. Poor quality food and staff. Won't be going back
Fair prices with Pizza Night offer (16 inch pizza + 4 beers just 18). Very kind staffs & delicious pizza.
We have just been to eat here. Disappointed is an understatement. Food was so bland service was terrible.we tried Nachos Pizza/loaded fries & Pasta. We let the staff know our thoughts to help them improve and the waitress said 'I think the same'. We then spoke to the manager who also didn't want know she proceeded to tell us no one else has complained so they can't be a problem. Shame because the location is great.
We organised a joint birthday movie viewing at the Flemingate cinema. Due to the current C19 limitations, we could not book a function room so we booked the restaurant instead. The staff were very friendly and helpful despite the fact they had to accommodate over 20 lively kids and the general mess of singing and cutting cakes for 3 children. Nonetheless everything went smoothly, the children had great time and an opportunity for the first birthday since February 2020. The pizzas were great too, the dough was decent, the sauce well seasoned and oven baked at the right temperature!
