Quick Facts About Queen's Road Fisheries

Queen's Road Fisheries has received a mixed response from customers, with both positive and negative comments. In order to provide a balanced and comprehensive review, this analysis will examine the strengths and weaknesses of the establishment.
One of the main strengths highlighted in the comments is the quality of the fish. Several customers mentioned that the fish was cooked perfectly and tasted delicious. The fact that one customer specifically referred to it as the best fish and chips they have had in a long time is a testament to the quality of the fish. This suggests that Queen's Road Fisheries takes care in sourcing and preparing their fish, which can be considered a definite strength.
Another strength mentioned in the comments is the freshness of some of the ingredients. One customer specifically mentioned that the sausage was fresh, which indicates that Queen's Road Fisheries pays attention to the quality of the ingredients they use. Fresh ingredients are crucial in maintaining the overall taste and quality of the food, so this is certainly a positive aspect of Queen's Road Fisheries.
However, despite these positive aspects, there are several weaknesses that customers have pointed out. One major criticism is the pricing. One customer mentioned that a bag of chips at Queen's Road Fisheries is priced at £2.30, which is 40p more expensive than at Bardetts down the road. This suggests that Queen's Road Fisheries may not offer the best value for money, and customers may feel that they are paying more for a subpar product. Additionally, another customer mentioned that the meals at Queen's Road Fisheries are expensive, with two meals costing nearly £9. This can be considered a weakness as customers may expect better quality for the price they are paying.
Another weakness highlighted by customers is the subpar customer service. Several customers mentioned that the staff were rude and lacked manners. This can be a major turnoff for customers and can significantly impact their overall experience at the establishment. It may also discourage customers from returning or recommending Queen's Road Fisheries to others.
Furthermore, the comments also highlight issues with the chips. Multiple customers mentioned that the chips were soggy and not of good quality. One customer even mentioned that they were predominantly tiny and hard, which suggests that the chips may not be cooked properly or may not be of the desired texture. This can be considered a weakness as chips are a staple in fish and chip shops, and customers expect them to be of high quality.
In terms of speed of service, one customer mentioned that it was painfully slow. This can be seen as a weakness as customers expect quick and efficient service when ordering food. Slow service can lead to frustration and may deter customers from returning.
In summary, while Queen's Road Fisheries has received some positive comments regarding the quality of their fish and some of the ingredients used, there are significant weaknesses that have been highlighted by customers. These include the higher pricing compared to other establishments, subpar customer service, and issues with the quality of the chips and the speed of service. It is important for Queen's Road Fisheries to address these weaknesses in order to improve overall customer satisfaction and attract more patrons. By addressing these weaknesses, Queen's Road Fisheries may be able to improve their reputation and become a more popular and successful establishment in the future.

Awful chipy. A bag of chips is priced at £2.30 so 40pence more than Bardetts down the road. The staff are miserly and wouldn't give me chips for???? £1.90. Only went there because Bardetts was closed.
Avoid the place. Misers!
Anorexic fish, runny curry sauce and soggy chips, don’t bother
Overall good food not the best I've had so went 4 stars
Recently bought fish and chips here ,not nice .Fish was chemically tasting and chewy and soggy chips with little s of corner ,sharp bits.Expensive also ,I won't go back .☹️
Quite poor ????
Chips were old & dried up & nearly all " scrappy bits" no actual decent chips amongst them. Tasted / looked as though they had been there for hours? Sadly.
Nice fresh sausage. But at nearly £9 for 2 meals.. expect better!
Food was nice but service was painfully slow! I’m hoping the staff are just new ????
Came into the shop on Saturday 2nd April. The server was rude with no manners on the plus side best fish and chips I've had in a long time from this chippy who ever was frying should do it on a regular basis
Got fish and chips this evening. I really can't say anything bad about the fish. It was a good size and was cooked perfectly. The chips however were predominantly tiny, hard theeth braking gum stabbing things! This is the second time they've been like this.
