Lovely little tea/coffee shop. We were passing through and decided to stop, and glad we did. Dog friendly. Owners/staff were lovely, welcoming and friendly. Drinks were hot. The food and cakes were fresh. All reasonabley priced. I would definitely return, if passing through again.
Passing through on the way to Alston and a very much needed break. Pot of tea, soup and a sandwich finished off with a scone, jam and clotted cream. All excellent and at a very good price. A very welcoming place.
Had a lovely lunch there yesterday, a toasted sandwich with salad and crisps. Lovely and warm, decor delightful and the staff very welcoming and friendly. Would definitely recommend it.
Unique decor but a family run place with a good local following.
We had a lovely coffee and cake here on a rather chilly morning. The dogs were welcomed inside and Julie and Cliff were really helpful and kind, bringing gravy bones for the dogs and explaining to us where to park etc for our walk to Low Force and High Force.
We had lovely different scones in here, blueberry & orange/cranberry tasted super with tea & latte. Friendly staff cosy cafe. Will call again.
Came across this lovely cafe while passing through Middleton. Nice coffee and cakes to take away my wife was particularly impressed by the gluten free scone. Delicious!
