Quick Facts About Smokey Tails

Smokey Tails, located in The Star of Bethnal Green, has received a range of comments from customers. In order to analyze the strengths and weaknesses of the establishment, these comments will be broken down and examined.
Starting with the strengths, the food at Smokey Tails is consistently praised. Customers have mentioned that the food is "fantastic" and "delicious," with a particular highlight being the smoked sides such as the corn on the cob. There are also positive comments about the range of food available, with options catering to everyone in the group. Additionally, the pulled pork nachos are mentioned as being good.
Another strength of Smokey Tails is the atmosphere and entertainment. Customers mention having a good time drinking and enjoying live music. They highlight the music as being "awesome" and enjoyable. This aspect can add to the overall experience of dining at Smokey Tails.
The size of the venue is also noted as a positive aspect. The fact that Smokey Tails can handle large parties and provide good service is seen as a strength. This is particularly relevant for customers who want to dine with a large group.
Moving on to the weaknesses, one of the comments that stands out is the issue with rude staff. Several customers mention encountering rude waitstaff during their visit. From comments such as "incredibly rude staff" to staff being "disrespectful" and "outrageous," it is clear that this is a significant weakness of Smokey Tails. Rude and disrespectful behavior towards paying customers is not acceptable and can negatively impact the overall dining experience.
Another weakness mentioned is slow and inconsistent service. Some customers mention waiting a long time for drinks and food. One customer specifically notes that they had to wait 20-25 minutes for a table even though there were empty tables available. This lack of efficiency in service can be frustrating for customers, especially when they have made a reservation or are waiting in line.
There are also comments regarding the pricing and quality of the food. One customer mentions that the food is overpriced and not even good. This suggests that the quality of the food does not meet the expectations of the customers, considering the price they are paying. This can be seen as a weakness as customers expect good value for the money they spend.
In terms of the bottomless brunch option, there are mixed reviews. While some customers had a great experience with the bottomless brunch and fantastic food, others were disappointed with the limited choices and slow service. It seems that there may be inconsistencies in the execution of the bottomless option, which is a weakness as customers have different expectations when opting for this experience.
It is also worth noting that Smokey Tails is a relatively new establishment, with one comment mentioning that they have only been open for four weeks. This could explain some of the issues with service and consistency that have been mentioned. It suggests that they may still be working out the kinks and finding their groove as a new venue.
In conclusion, Smokey Tails has strengths in terms of the quality of the food, the range of options available, and the atmosphere and entertainment. However, there are significant weaknesses with regards to rude staff, slow and inconsistent service, and pricing and quality of the food. It is important for Smokey Tails to address these weaknesses in order to improve the overall dining experience and ensure customer satisfaction.

Best TL Reviews

First of all, do not look for Smokey Tails as a venue, it's actually in The Star of Bethnal Green! Food is great, came for a bottomless brunch that did not disappoint.
Fantastic food and great staff, can't wait to try again!
Had a good afternoon evening of drinking here, and the food was fantastic, with a wide range catering for everybody in our group. Let down by the fact that the person who served us was quite rude. It was fairly busy, so I'll give them the benefit of the doubt, but when you're paying hundreds of pounds for a meal and drinks for a small group, you expect the service the match the food, and for me it didn't.
Tremendous service for our large party. Delicious take on high class fast food. The smoked sides are incredible (corn on the cob etc) and the classic meat dishes rival with the best you can get around town. Cocktails may need some work but the house take on an old fashioned (with maple syrup) was very good. Try and get a brownie to finish as these are the best I have ever tasted.
Pretty disappointing. Seth Troxler is a great DJ, his restaurant/cafe....not so much. We went for the bottomless option and we found the bottom... very quickly. Slow to serve drinks and a weird rule that you can only have one bottomless choice. You just end up swapping with your friends. Pointless. However they have only been open 4 weeks and the staff are very friendly. Also. Music was awesome.
Service a bit hit and miss on our visit, but can see would be fun. Pulled pork nachos were good (when they arrived), and Seth T is a great producer and important voice for dance music from my experience, so big love there.
Incredibly rude staff. We visited after work around 5pm on a weeknight, the venue was quiet, but we were informed that if we wanted a table outside we would HAVE TO order food with no further explanation given. When the waiter came to take our order we asked for a portion of chips and 2 drinks. The waiter commented "is this the food you said you would order?" Such rude and disrespectful behaviour towards paying customers is outrageous. The fact that friends came to join and we continued to order alcoholic drinks which certainly outweighed the amount we would have spent on food, was clearly overlooked by the staff. I won't be going again.
Worste service ever.
When we arrived with my friends yesterday evening, the place was full (friday eve it's a normal thing in Shoredicth). But waitress informed me that we could have a table inside in 20-25minutes. So we went in the bar next door to have a drink waiting for the table. After 40-45 minutes, I went back to check why we were waiting so long. My first surprise was to see two tables free while the waitress was keep refusing to give us the table. Also, instead of apologizing for the long wait, she invited me to get food somewhere else! Thing we should done... However I went back to pick up my friends in the pub next door to wait in restaurant to be sure to get the first table free. While these 5 minutes, one of the free table were given to three guys (we were 6 waiting to get food...).
We finally get a table, ordered food, didn't get my portion of chips, ask a second time but I still haven't been served of my chips. The food is overpriced and not even good.
If you want a nice place to eat BBQ with good service, just go to Blues Kitchen on Curtain road.
And especially avoid this place!!
