Quick Facts About Starbucks
Strengths:
1. Friendly and exceptional customer service: One customer had a positive experience with a barista named David, who provided outstanding service. He showed empathy towards a customer's child with autism, accommodated their needs, and ensured they felt comfortable. This kind of personalized service goes a long way in creating a positive impression and customer loyalty.
2. Some customers appreciate the quality of the drinks: Despite mixed reviews, one customer mentioned that their black coffee was hot and their chocolate brownie was delicious. This indicates that Starbucks can deliver good quality products in certain instances.
3. Availability of alternative coffee shops: One comment mentioned that alternative coffee shops with a decent app are available locally. This suggests that Starbucks has competition in the area, giving customers more options to choose from.
Weaknesses:
1. Slow service: Multiple comments mentioned that the service at Starbucks, particularly the drive-thru, was slow and inefficient. This can lead to frustration and dissatisfaction among customers who are looking for a quick and convenient experience.
2. Inconsistent drink quality: Several comments expressed disappointment in the drink quality at Starbucks. Complaints included drinks being watery, lacking chocolate sauce, or not prepared as ordered. Inconsistent drink quality can harm Starbucks' reputation and deter customers from returning.
3. Poor app functionality: One comment mentioned that the rewards app at Starbucks was not user-friendly. This can be a downside for customers who rely on using the app for convenient ordering and earning rewards. A poorly designed app can lead to frustration and dissatisfaction among tech-savvy customers.
4. Cleanliness issues: One customer mentioned that the floors were sticky and the tables were not wiped. This indicates a lack of cleanliness in the store, which can create a negative impression and deter customers from wanting to spend time in the environment.
5. Focus on drive-thru customers over in-store customers: One comment mentioned that the service at Starbucks seemed to prioritize drive-thru customers over those at the counter. This can lead to longer wait times and less attention given to in-store customers, creating a negative experience for those who choose to dine inside.
6. Poor service and mistakes in order: Multiple comments mentioned instances where the service was poor and mistakes were made with orders. This can indicate a lack of attention to detail and training among the baristas, resulting in customer dissatisfaction.
7. Negative first impression: One customer mentioned that their first visit to Starbucks was disappointing due to a poor road layout, tired service from the speaker box, lukewarm drinks, and a lack of sugar and stirrers. This negative first experience can deter customers from wanting to revisit Starbucks in the future.
In conclusion, Starbucks has both strengths and weaknesses based on the comments provided. While some customers appreciate the exceptional customer service and quality of drinks in certain instances, others have expressed frustration with slow service, inconsistent drink quality, poor app functionality, cleanliness issues, a focus on drive-thru customers over in-store customers, and negative first impressions. Addressing these weaknesses can help Starbucks improve its overall customer experience and maintain a competitive edge in the local market.
Best TL Reviews
Slowest drive-through ever. If you get fed up and go inside forget using the rewards app. It's pants. Worst app ever. Coffee is okay when you actually get it. The good news is that alternative coffee shops are available locally with a really decent app and they costa bit less too.
Sticky floors & busy baristas - Service is focused on Drive thru customers rather than the customers at the counter - May be they should be staffed enough to take care of both the customer sections. The place can be kept a little more clean, the floors were sticky and the tables were not wiped.
Ive bee here quite a few times, leaving 6 weeks inbetween. But I'm reminded how slow the service is, how poorly the drinks r made and why they don't listen to what you've ordered.

Visit this Starbucks every time I'm in Ashton because my friend is obsessed. The favourite for us is a Java Chip Frappucino with cream. Out of all the times we've visited, I think I've only ever had one instance where the drink was made with care, it's always watery and without chocolate sauce. We normally order at the drive-thru and the last time we went not only was our frappucino watery but for some reason after a couple of minutes of waiting at the window, I was asked to wait at the bay even though there were no cars behind me. I don’t think my friend and I were doing or saying anything inappropriate so it made us super paranoid and now very reluctant to go back there now.
Ordered 2 drinks a strawberries and cream and a hot chocolate.
The strawberries and cream was really
nice but the hot chocolate was awful.
Hot chocolate was weak and had whipped cream on it even though we didn’t order whipped cream. We asked for a new hot chocolate and all they did was take the whipped cream off. Shocking service, especially for the price you’re paying.
My black coffee was hot ! Which isn't always the case in English Starbucks and my chocolate brownie, was to die for. Staff were busy, but attentive and polite ☺️
Road layout is an absolute shambles, big Q for what essentially is a warm drink, service from speaker box was tired and laboured, drinks were lukewarm, no sugar or stirrer accounted for, very poor introduction to our 1st Starbucks visit, it's not really given us any inclination to revisit.
