Best TL Reviews

I I walked in and asked for a simple manicure and a full pedicure service. Right at the start, the lady assigned to do my $40 pedicure was disrespectful. I decided to brush it off and continue with the service. The lady did the bare minimum while giving the service. My toes looked as if an inexperienced child did them. When I asked her to clean them up respectfully, she got angry and took some of the polish off and did not re-polish. She got her manager to come over as she acted as if she could not understand me pointing at the $17 hand and nail polish service they offer. The manager was being rude as well and decided she was giving me a full manicure instead. I decided to go along with it as I was just trying to enjoy my day. They all started talking louder when I walked over to the manicure area for my second service and everyone EXCEPT the customers were looking at me. I felt very uncomfortable. When the manicurist came back to her table, I changed my mind and said that I did not want the service. All of a sudden she understood and knew how to speak English and her tone at that, was disrespectful. Another worker sitting behind me turned around and spoke to me in a loud tone, as if she did not have respect for me, asking “why I don’t want the manicure.” Like I owed her a reason. She turned back around quietly when I answered her back with the same tone. As I paid the $40 for the t pedicure, the manager kept harassing me about why I decided to leave without the manicure.
They did an incredible, beautiful set of powder dip French nails for me! They are fast, efficient and always end with wonderful oil massage with hot towel wrap. They even fixed my nail I broke an hour later by accident for free. I was so happy with my nails I tipped the woman who fixed it. The shape, color and finish is the best I have ever received. Great prices, highly recommend!!!!
I came in for a fill and my technician recommended I get a new set. Best full set I have ever gotten. I went on a Sunday afternoon. She was fast and efficient. I’m not one for sitting too long. I had a very different experience than the rest of these reviews. And I’ve been here twice before in the past.
Not a happy ending. I have had my nails done maybe 6 times in my life, and most of them at this salon. Asked for a manicure, French nails, with clear polish, not acrylic. I think the intake manager understood what I wanted ok, but the tech did not. She did not speak English but I did not know that. I asked her and an associate to make sure that she understood what I wanted. My nails were all a little longer than my fingers. I expected shaping and then the polish and white tips. Unfortunately, she cut off all my nail length. Then she put on the clear coat and I was under the dryer. There seemed no on to talk to about something was wrong. When she tried to take me up to pay I asked her when was she going to put on the French tips?
Another tech put on the French white tips for me. My fingers look like I am a terrible nail bitter. This is for my son's wedding reception. She kept saying she was sorry, but of course I got charged anyway. I am terribly disappointed. I can not recommend this nail salon anymore if they can not have enough people to communicate clearly what a customer wants.
I’m so frustrated it was 110 dollars for the worst nails ever I got nicked several times with the drill it was very painful And I left with this don’t come here if you want good nails
I have never given a bad review before but had to warn people about this place. I would avoid this nail salon at all costs. My friend came here to get a full set and not only was she overcharged for an absolute mess but she was treated with complete disrespect. She tried to politely tell the nail tech that she didn't really like what she did and it wasn't what she asked for and the lady refused to redo them or even refund her. Then at one point told her she would rip the nails off her hands and then give her her money back. This is the most unprofessional business I have ever been to. DO NOT GO HERE
What a terrible experience! I rarely treat myself to a manicure pedicure and work so hard before getting myself to a nail salon. Now I understand why my friends are picky about their nail technicians.
Initially, I walked in and was told where to sit for a pedicure. A sweet young employee filled my soak with water only. … The water got cold and smelled. (No pedicure product was placed). I took my feet out and waited patiently. The woman who I assume is the manager was so rude to the young employee who was about to start my pedicure. She mistakenly was going to start with me. I was shocked by how rude the manager was to the employee although she apologized to me and smiled. Later a gentleman started my signature pedicure which includes a massage and callus removal.
…I am a licensed nail technician in another state. I was shocked by the lack of sanitation of the utensils. Filing can’t really be done wrong, right? Wrong. Some toe nails were filed and some were cut crooked. I promise I am not terribly picky but I wanted a service worth my money. I still feel the callus on my mid-foot and the massage was weak. 1/10. With the polish, I truly wish I had stopped the service then. My big toes were both messy. The left was cloudy and the right contained a piece of lint that was from the polish bottle. Regardless of where it came from I brought it to the attention of the man and he blamed my shacket. I asked him to please remove the polish. Instead he tried to fix the big toes. Now I am home with messy polish I could have done much better myself.
With that I should have cancelled the gel polish on my hands. I didn’t. I was moved around to 3 different seats before the manager finally yelled out where she wanted me from the other side of the room.
Another man was going to start my gel polish. Again crooked filing technique and messy polish. $65 for a disappointment.
There’s another nail salon in South Portland called AnnLee I was going to go there instead and really wish I did.
I decided to get my nails done for my birthday to spoil myself, while I was pretty happy on how my nails turned out the pricing is quite outrageous. They always seem more interested in what the other co-workers are doing rather than the client they are servicing. Efficient is one thing but speeding through the pricey service leaves much to be desired.
