Wow! This place has went to the dogs! Used to be brilliant, but lack of investment and caring has turned it into a dive.
None of the beer taps work in the wee side restaurant so everything u order they go next door. Unclean and rubbish in hallways.
Toilets are disgusting, most the taps don't work... no hot water no soap no handryers and buckets under the urinals. One area competed blocked off with table and chairs. They stink to the point you feel sick.
Looks like noone cares about the place and when you say anything to staff they just shrug their shoulders.
Such a shame. Needs a massive overhaul!!

After staying at the hotel over the weekend, all I can say is my wife and I were blown away by the friendliness of the staff and how happy they were to accommodate you in anyway they can.
They were attentive and despite not getting in til 11:30 and having to order food, they were still happy to bring it to our room. They give a friendly wake up call with a lovely breakfast, and we’re incredibly accommodating for our dog, who also had an incredible time. I can say without a shadow of a doubt that we will happily stay there again!

Due to train cancellation and 45 mins to kill. Popped into the bar for drinks with friend's. The outside entrance was not inviting. Inside was better than expected apart from a leak which seemed to be ignored by staff.
Reasonable selection of drinks, however 2 out 3 draught drinks asked for was not available. Not the best toilets with a bucket catching slops in the gents. Food was on offer but the environment put me off from eating!
Popped in this evening for a bite to eat for dinner and had the chicken and ham pie it was delicious. I was surprised to see how busy it was, all the tables were booked out. Was lovely to see that even with restrictions people are still supporting businesses by going out for socially distanced meals. Table service is in place, with all tables spaced out to keep everyone safe. Will definitely be back
Had christening recently,was really disappointed on how disorganised it was,my friend went down at 10.30,had to hoover function room,organise tables and chairs,nothing set up even though we were arriving at 11.30.
Buffet not organised on time kept having to ask for it,toilets disgusting no hand wash,papper towels,badly needing cleaned up....only good point,kids had a ball due to our entertainment that wee provided......would avoid Taylor for any event....badly needs cleaned up.
Held our Baby Shower in Taylors today and if this is something you are thinking about I would highly recommend them. The staff were extremely helpful and allowed us to set up and decorate the room the way we wanted. The buffet was really good and they also set up a separate vegetarian section for us - there was plenty of food for everyone

Stay clear of this place, returned three meals. Juice is flat, bread was stale, chips were cold, burger was vile. Not good for a family meal. Even though we returned food we were still over charged for items we didnt recieve. 1 meal was missing off the order, which was served 20 minutes after everyone elses, this came out cold with frozen veggies! Absolutely disgusting! Only giving one star as zero isnt an option
