Quick Facts About The Little Fish Bar

The Little Fish Bar has several strengths that make it a popular choice for fish and chips in the area.
First and foremost, the quality of the food is highly praised. The commenter mentions that the chips are "so good on its own" and the battered cod is "out of this world." The fish is described as fresh, thick, and super crispy, with no hint of sogginess or greasiness. The high quality of the food is likely a result of the Little Fish Bar's commitment to sourcing locally and providing a delicious fish supper that meets the standards of the locals, who are known for being fussy about their fish and chips.
In addition to the high quality of the food, the Little Fish Bar is also commended for its friendly staff and reasonable prices. The commenter notes that the staff is very friendly and the prices are competitive. This combination of good food and friendly service creates a positive dining experience for customers.
Another strength of the Little Fish Bar is its cleanliness. It is described as a clean and friendly fish bar, which is important for customers who want to enjoy their meal in a clean and pleasant environment. The cleanliness of the establishment adds to the overall positive experience for customers.
The Little Fish Bar is also praised for its quick service and large portion sizes. The commenter mentions that it is their regular place and they never go anywhere else. This indicates that the Little Fish Bar consistently delivers a satisfying dining experience in terms of both quality and quantity.
However, despite its strengths, the Little Fish Bar does have a few weaknesses that should be considered.
One weakness is the lack of vegetarian and vegan options. While the fish and chips are highly praised, it is unfortunate that there are no alternatives for those who do not consume animal products. This restricts the potential customer base and may deter individuals who are looking for vegetarian or vegan options.
Another weakness is the limited payment options. The Little Fish Bar only accepts cash payments, which may be inconvenient for customers who prefer to pay with card or do not have cash on hand. This limitation may discourage some potential customers from dining at the Little Fish Bar.
In terms of facilities, the Little Fish Bar lacks public toilets and easy wheelchair entry. This may be a disadvantage for customers who require these facilities, as it limits their ability to comfortably and conveniently dine at the Little Fish Bar.
Parking availability is also mentioned as a weakness, with only enough space for three cars outside. This may result in limited parking options for customers, especially during peak hours. The limited parking availability may deter some potential customers who are unable to find a parking spot nearby.
Overall, the strengths of the Little Fish Bar lie in its high quality, delicious food, friendly staff, reasonable prices, and cleanliness. These qualities contribute to a positive dining experience for customers. However, the weaknesses of limited vegetarian/vegan options, cash-only payment, lack of public toilets and wheelchair accessibility, and limited parking availability should also be considered when evaluating the Little Fish Bar as a dining option.

Best TL Reviews

I’ve lived in a little fishing village in Northern Ireland for the past 10 years Where people are so fussy about their Fish and locally sourced chips. Most of the local’s conversations is all about where is the best place to get your best fish supper! When I first moved to Norwich I really struggled finding a decent chippy as most of them would serve you a soggy greasy frozen fish with chips that I wouldn’t even feed to my dogs! One day I was walking to go get some groceries from Tescos and saw the little fish bar and decided to give it a go on my way back from shopping! What a massive surprise that was! OMG their chips are so good on its own! The Battered cod is out of this world..nice thick fresh fish and super crispy! And most important not soggy or greasy at all!
reasonably priced and very friendly staff.. please note they don’t accept card payment so it is cash only and they don’t do delivery. Thank you the little fish Bar can’t wait to visit again:)
Great chip shop. Our regular place, never go any where else
Clean and friendly fish bar. Good chips 90% of the time. Prices are competitive. Crispy bits always free and nice. Just look at this picture, that's the new normal I hope ????
No public toilets. No wheelchair easy entry. Covid-19 friendly. Enough parking for 3 cars outside.
Great food, good price, worth stopping. Cash payment only!
Food is nice, cheap and made to order. Good little chippy. Unfortunately no vegetarian/vegan options though. (Chips are cooked in beef dripping).
I get fish and chips from the little fish bar quite often. I have always loved going there. I have no complaints they always serve good food, with good portion. I love how nice they are :) I wish I remember the menu because there is so much options.
Always been a good place to get fish and chips from
Best chip shop. Huge portions. Quick and fresh. I love stopping here whenever I'm in the area.
