Quick Facts About The Broom Cafe

The Broom Cafe, according to the comments provided, is praised for being the best cafe in Glasgow. Customers appreciate the welcoming staff, affordable prices, and fantastic food and coffee. The cafe is described as having a lovely environment that coffee lovers will enjoy.
One strength of The Broom Cafe is its high-quality coffee. A customer mentions that it is better than Starbucks and Costa, which are popular chain coffee shops. This suggests that the cafe takes pride in its coffee and offers a superior product compared to its competitors. The daily latte that one customer enjoys showcases the consistency of the cafe's coffee, as they visit regularly for it.
The welcoming nature of the staff is another strength of the cafe. Customers appreciate friendly and attentive service, which adds to their overall positive experience. This suggests that the staff are well-trained and strive to create a welcoming atmosphere. Such a friendly environment can contribute to customer loyalty and positive word-of-mouth.
Affordability is also mentioned as a strength. This indicates that The Broom Cafe offers reasonable prices for its food and drinks. In a comparison to chain coffee shops like Starbucks and Costa, the cafe is perceived as providing better value for money. This can attract budget-conscious customers who are looking for quality food and drinks at an affordable price.
On the other hand, the weaknesses of The Broom Cafe can be identified through the negative comments. One customer mentions that their brunch experience fell short of their expectations. The combination of the food they ordered resulted in cold toast and poached eggs resting on a sliced tomato. This suggests that the food quality and presentation were unsatisfactory. Inconsistent food quality can significantly impact the overall dining experience and leave customers disappointed.
Another weakness mentioned is the atmosphere and decor. One customer expected a different ambiance for a brunch experience, suggesting that The Broom Cafe's atmosphere did not match their expectations. While it is subjective, the feedback suggests that the cafe's ambiance may not meet the standards or preferences of some customers. This can be a drawback for those who prioritize the overall ambiance and decor of a dining establishment.
Another weakness identified is related to the value for money. A customer complains about the high price of the big full breakfast, stating that the quality was lacking. The square sausages, fatty bacon, and excessive toast are mentioned as disappointing elements. The customer suggests that the price should include higher quality ingredients like hash browns and better sausages. This implies that the cafe may not be meeting the expectations of customers in terms of the value they receive for the price they pay.
The cleanliness of the toilets is also mentioned as a weakness. One customer expressed disappointment in the standard of the toilets, implying that they were not well-maintained. Cleanliness is a fundamental aspect of any dining establishment, and a subpar restroom experience can impact the overall impression and satisfaction of customers.
In summary, The Broom Cafe has strengths in its high-quality coffee, welcoming staff, affordable prices, and positive atmosphere. However, weaknesses are evident in the quality and presentation of food, the perceived value for money, and the cleanliness of the restrooms. Addressing these weaknesses can improve the overall dining experience and enhance customer satisfaction.

Best TL Reviews

The best cafe in Glasgow, I have been to a lot of cafes and I must say this is the best , I go here just about everyday for my daily latte. if you are a coffee lover it is way better than Starbucks and Costa. The staff are so welcoming and it is such a lovely environment to be in , the food is fantastic and it is affordable.
It just wasn't the brunch experience I thought it would be.
The food really let it down... The combination wasn't right and meant the toast was cold and the poached eggs were cold resting on a full sliced tomato. The coffee was alright which is why I scored overall 2 stars.
The atmosphere and decor was very 'cafe' and not what I would expect.
For the prices I would be expecting a lot more of a 'brunch' !
This review is only based on their big full breakfast which costs £11.95. When you state sausages it would be helpful if you mentioned they were square. (they weren’t great.) Bacon was fatty, lots of toast to pack it out on the plate. I think for the price you are charging hash browns, quality link sausages and a cup of tea should be included. To be fair the other food we ordered looked nice but this big breakfast is poor in taste and value for money I’m afraid to say.
This is a 5 STAR Cafe. The staff are very friendly and the food is fantastic, I cannot rate it highly enough. Coffee and Ice cream are also amazing.
Firstly lovely attentive staff, great brunch, all items ordered were traditional tasting, warm and cosy,
Great breakfast there today but the only negative is that the toilets weren't upto a good standard.
Normally our go to place for pancakes so went as a back to school treat.. have to say we were left disappointed! The difference in size and portions was noticeable from the minute they were placed in front of us. We were there in May this year and the portion was 2 big pancakes with good helping of strawberries and Nutella.. .this time they were no bigger than palm of my hand (which is small!) And the strawberries were chopped into teeny pieces to make it look like more! Nutella was clearly being rationed as well. The prices had increased which I understand with the current climate but to pay more for much much for less is not on. Really gutted we left feeling disappointed and might not be back for a while. Service was ok and it was getting busy when we left so my review might be worth nothing but for pancakes go back to what you did before!
Always great service food exellent and reasonable prices.
