Quick Facts About The Magnet
The Magnet Place has several strengths based on the comments provided. Firstly, it is described as a very friendly bar with helpful bar staff. The fact that the bartender assists customers in choosing their beers and even allows them to sample some before making a decision is a strong indication of the positive customer service provided by The Magnet Place.
The atmosphere of The Magnet Place is another strength mentioned in the comments. Words like "gemütlich" (cozy), "quirky," and "lively" are used to describe the pub. It is evident from these comments that The Magnet Place offers a unique and enjoyable atmosphere for its patrons. The presence of live music from various bands on different nights contributes to the lively ambiance, making it a popular spot for locals and visitors alike. The mention of a log burner adds to the cozy and welcoming atmosphere of the pub, especially during cold winter evenings.
The selection of drinks is another notable strength of The Magnet Place. It is described as having a good variety of real ales, ciders, lagers, and even a gluten-free beer. The wide selection of ciders and ales is specifically mentioned, indicating that The Magnet Place caters to different tastes and preferences. Many customers appreciate the opportunity to try different beers through a £4.50 flight of Kentish beers, which adds value to their experience.
The dog-friendly nature of The Magnet Place is also highlighted as a strength. The presence of four dogs during one visit and the fact that the staff offered complimentary biscuits to a customer's dog shows that The Magnet Place welcomes pets and creates a welcoming environment for dog owners. This dog-friendly policy can help attract a larger customer base and make the pub more inclusive.
Location is mentioned as one of the strengths of The Magnet Place. It is described as being in a great location, which may suggest that it is easily accessible and possibly in a popular area. This can be a significant advantage as it attracts passing trade and encourages more people to visit.
The Magnet Place is also praised for its service. The comments consistently mention the excellent service provided by the staff. The fact that there were no queues and that the staff served people quickly contributes to a positive customer experience. Additionally, the friendly and welcoming nature of the staff is highlighted, making customers feel comfortable and at ease.
Despite these strengths, there are some potential weaknesses that can be inferred from the comments. One such weakness is the mention of a building project that has been paused at the back of the pub. While the comments do not go into detail about this project, it can be assumed that it may negatively impact the overall ambiance and appearance of the pub. Additionally, the mention of a competitor, "the mermaid over the road," suggests that there may be strong competition in the area. This could pose a challenge for The Magnet Place in terms of attracting customers.
In conclusion, The Magnet Place has several strengths that make it an appealing destination for patrons. Its friendly staff, cozy atmosphere, wide selection of drinks, dog-friendly policy, and excellent service all contribute to a positive customer experience. However, potential weaknesses, such as the impact of a paused building project and competition from other establishments, should also be considered. Overall, The Magnet Place seems to be a popular and well-regarded pub in Broadstairs.

Sehr freundliche Bar, Barkeeper hilfreich beim Aussuchen des Bieres
..er lässt mich einige probieren. TIPP
Sehr gemütlicher Micropub mit einer guten Auswahl an Real Ales. Einen Besuch und ein oder mehr Pints wert...
Really friendly, quirky pub with great beers and music. Had the best time there.
Wide selection of ciders ales and a few lagets too. The chandelier of beer bottles is very cool, very dog friendly, there were 4 dogs there at the time we visited, just sitting by the tables. Ours was offered complimentary biscuits a couple of times, which was a nice touch. Quite a few staff working, no queues, a bit outside area at the back at thd moment that is apparently linked to a building project that been paused by someone else. Lively atmosphere, very welcoming, great location, great value. Apricot cider from the fridge was lovely too, but I bet the mermaid over the road would have rather been in The Magnet....
Superb service, excellent selection of beers and ciders (and a gluten free beer on Keg). Who can so no to a £4.50 flight of kentish beers? Looking forward to heading back
The most welcoming, friendliest place I've been in a long time. Various bands playing different nights/days. Woofs friendly too. So easy to chat to locals, owners or otherwise. The happiest place in Broadstairs. Look forward to visit again!!!
Went to see The Sutherlings on a cold January eve. Their was a lovely log burner, Real Ale and lagers. The place was crammed with friendly people, mostly local people this time of year. Didnt have to wait at the bar they were very quick serving people. The duo were set up in the corner by the big windows and they were amazing. A Folk duo from Devon. They were given a warm welcome and their voices and melodies lifted everyone's spirits.
Enjoyed our brief stop at The Magnet. Lovely selection and a great vibe which is clearly loved by the local community.
