Quick Facts About The Pharaoh
The Pharaoh place, based on the comments, has both strengths and weaknesses. Understanding these can help evaluate whether it is a good option for customers.
Starting with the strengths, it is evident that the quality of the food is generally good. One comment mentions getting a high-quality, tender, and flavorful steak kebab. Another comment praises the fresh-tasting steak kebab and the sweet and refreshing garlic sauce. These positive remarks indicate that the Pharaoh place can deliver a satisfying taste experience to its customers. Additionally, the quick collection time mentioned in one comment is an advantage for those who value efficiency and prompt service.
However, the weaknesses of the Pharaoh place also come to light through these comments. One consistent criticism is the portion sizes in relation to the prices charged. One comment mentions that the "large" kebab is not actually large, and the price has increased to £9.50. Another comment states that the portion size was meager considering the price paid. Furthermore, one customer expresses disappointment at receiving kebabs that were not even half-filled with meat, despite the high price of £20.10 for two kebabs. These comments suggest that the Pharaoh place may not provide good value for money, which could be a significant weakness for potential customers.
Another weakness highlighted in the comments is inconsistency. While some customers had positive experiences, others encountered issues. In one comment, a customer received a bone-dry kebab, indicating a lack of consistency in the preparation of their food. Another comment mentions finding hairs in a lukewarm burger, suggesting a lack of attention to detail and quality control. Inconsistent experiences like these can lead to dissatisfaction among customers, tarnishing the reputation of the Pharaoh place.
Furthermore, some comments express frustration with the pricing strategy employed by the Pharaoh place. There are mentions of "disgusting price hikes" and "ripping the ar*e out of its loyal customers." These grievances center around the perception that the prices charged are unreasonable and that the Pharaoh place is taking advantage of its customers. This criticism highlights a weakness in the Pharaoh place's pricing strategy and its impact on customer satisfaction.
In conclusion, the Pharaoh place has its strengths in terms of delivering good quality food, quick service, and flavorful options. However, there are notable weaknesses that should be considered. These include inconsistent portion sizes, lack of value for money, inconsistencies in food preparation and quality, and a pricing strategy that could be perceived as unfair. Potential customers should weigh these strengths and weaknesses to decide whether the Pharaoh place meets their expectations and preferences.
Best TL Reviews
Usually great but the “large” kebab remains not large while the price is now £9.50.
Unfortunately I got one tonight which was nearly bone dry. You can see in the photos that this meat and sauce had so little sauce that the foil and lid were dry. Usually good but inconsistent enough that £9.50 can be a rip off for the meat and sauce you actually can get. (Update and now £12 so haven’t been back)
3 to 4 stars if they give you a proper amount of sauce
Couldn't belive that's the portion I was given. Salad separate. Look closely and you'll find the meat and salad. At least the sauce is a full portion. Turkish kebab shop 2 minutes drive away from now on
Very impressed. Got a really high quality, tender and flavourful steak kebab in a crispy and well constructed pita. With a sharp and hot chilli sauce. Excellent service.
A fresh-tasting steak kebab. The garlic sauce was sweet and refreshing compared to some other places. The portion size was pretty miserable for the price. I paid £7.50 for a large steak kebab and chips, but the portion size would be a normal kebab anywhere else. I came here because the reviews said how good it was, however it didn't live up to the hype for me
A saving grace was the quick collection time on a Saturday night. Only 20mins and it was ready for pickup.
My order came to £20.10 for two kebabs in pitta bread &, 1chip. The chips were over done you couldn't eat them. The kebabs came delivered in brown bags soggy and were not even half filled with meat. The price you charge is ridiculous. When I spend that amount of money on kebabs I expect a good meal. Never will I order from here again. I'm just sorry I did take a picture and put it on here.
£6.90 for THREE very greasy, very overcooked chicken goujons. Absolutely rotten!!!
Ordered a burger and some chips, 3 orders done before mine
Burger was Lukewarm, cheese wasn't even melted, found about 3 hairs in it. Not a fan
Disgusting price hikes, £12 for a large kebab which is still nowhere near the size you get in other kebab shops. £9.50 for a tiny kebab. £10.50 for a fish supper! This place no matter how nice it is are ripping the ar*e out of it's loyal customers. Anyone paying these prices need their heads examined. Just close down if you can’t keep prices reasonable instead of ripping people off!
